Two weeks after the start of the current high school boys soccer season, the Livingston Academy Wildcats have hit the field and are currently bosting a 3-2-1 record.

Watertown was the first opponent on this year’s schedule on Tuesday, March 16, and when it was all over, the two teams had battled to a 1-1 tie in a game played at Livingston Academy. Camen Howard scored the lone goal for the Wildcats, and goalie Nathan Cowgill had 10 saves.

The following weekend, the Wildcats traveled to Gatlinburg to participate in the Smoky Mountain Cup. Livingston played in three events and won all three.

After the tournament victory, the Cats have fallen on some hard times, losing to Smith County 2-1 and then being shut out by Cumberland County, 9-0. The only other game last week was postponed due to the weather.

Livingston Academy has two games scheduled this week, hosting Stone Memorial tonight, Tuesday, March 30 at 6 p.m. then going on the road to Cookeville on Thursday.
