Former Livingston Academy center and long snapper Jarrett Key, now a sophomore at Tennessee Tech, was named last week as the team’s Special Team Player of the Week.

Key, son of Christie and Wayne Key of Livingston, was recruited by Tech after his senior season at LA specifically to snap the ball on punts and field goals and has done so most of last season and all of this season. His final game this season will be this Saturday.

In addition to his football duties, Key is also a standout in the classroom, currently carrying a 4.0 grade point average.
