Hayden Ledbetter qualifies for state

Livingston Academy Wildcats golf team member Hayden Ledbetter qualified for this week’s TSSAA State Golf Tournament with a 5th place finish in the regional tournament held last week in Cleveland.

Livingston Academy junior, Hayden Ledbetter, son of David and Lisa Ledbetter, finished 5th last week in the regional golf tournament held in Cleveland and has moved on to the state tournament.

At the regional event, Ledbetter, the only Livingston Academy individual golfer to advance to the district tourney, posted a round of 75, which earned him a tie with two other golfers. In a sudden death playoff, Ledbetter posted a birdie on the first hole to advance.

Ledbetter will move to Willow Brook Country Club in Manchester for the state event which is being played Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week.

In girls action at the regional tournament, the Livingston Academy team finished 5th overall with Cora Duke leading the way with a 96. Halle Ledbetter was 11th with a 105, and Anna Marie Smith posted a 116 for 17th.
