Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Wayne Savage, better known as Wayne, 57, of Livingston, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2019, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Jerry Savage officiating. Burial was in Savage Family Cemetery.
Mr. Savage passed from this life Friday afternoon, November 29, 2019, surrounded by his loving family at Signature Healthcare in Algood.
Wayne loved gospel music, eating McDonald’s burgers, dancing, and shaking everyone’s hands. He always smiled, and he enjoyed listening to country music, going to church, and eating bananas, Reese’s Cups, and Little Debbie cakes. He loved to celebrate birthdays, was a neat freak, and liked to change shirts. Wayne loved his brothers and sisters very much, enjoyed conducting the music at church, and always held a song book throughout the service.
Born December 31, 1961, he was the son of the late E.J. and Edeth Coffee Savage.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Savage and Allen Savage, and a sister, Lucille Rutherford.
Mr. Savage leaves behind five sisters, Virginia Sawyer and husband Ray of Old Hickory, Shirley Roberson and husband Perry of Monterey, Janice Helton and husband Paul of Pleasant View, Lesa Phillips and husband Billy of Cookeville, and Mary Allen and husband Wayne and Rita Qualls and husband Ritchey, all of Livingston; three brothers, Donnie Savage and wife Billie Jean of Cookeville, Larry Savage and wife Judy of Allons, and Joe Savage and wife Judy of Harriman; two sisters-in-law, Georgia Savage and Wanda Savage; a brother-in-law Terry Rutherford; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
