OD Colson

Funeral services for Mr. OD Colson, 87, of Livingston, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 7, 2021, from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with Bro. Aaron Dillon and Bro. John Mabrey officiating. Burial followed in Fellowship Cemetery in Allons.

Mr. Colson passed from this life Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center surrounded by his beloved family.

OD retired from Chrysler Corporation, where he worked for 30 years. He enjoyed working on his farm, traveling, and spending time with his family.

He was a dedicated member of the Church of Christ. OD will be greatly missed by his family and friends very much.

Born May 11, 1934, in the Willow Grove Community of Allons, he was the son of the late Calvin and Lena (Harvey) Colson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 14 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Cormal Eudean (Stover) Colson; three sons, Ronnie Colson of Cookeville, Terry (Jeanette) Colson and Daryl (Kim) Colson, all of Livingston; two daughters, Anita (Bob) Maley of Fraser, MI, and Carol (Wayne) Ballard of Bloomington Springs; 13 grandchildren, Amie Hutcherson, Janet Rumancik, Andrew Colson, Scott Colson, Brian Colson, Robert Maley, Melissa Maley, Andrew Maley, Jerry Ballard, Jearl Ballard, Danielle Goolsby, Victoria Grelle, and Olivia Colson; 16 great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; and a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers were Jearl Ballard, Jerry Ballard, Andrew Colson, Brian Colson, Scott Colson, Andrew Maley, Robert Maley, and Rick Hutcherson.
