Michael “Mike” Denver Gore

Funeral services for Mr. Michael “Mike” Denver Gore, 54, of Allons, were held Sunday, June 28, 2020, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with Bro. Darrek Copeland, Bro. Greg Jenkins, and James Bilbrey officiating. Burial followed in Overton County Memorial Gardens.

Mike went home to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, June 25, 2020, at his residence.

Mike was a graduate of Livingston Academy Class of 1983. First, he loved his Lord and Savior and his family and was a member of Fairview Freewill Baptist Church. Mike loved music and singing praises to his Lord, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Born August 18, 1965, in Livingston, he was the son of Denver and Judy (Maynord) Gore of Allons.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Pa Gordon and Memaw Headith Gore and Pa Addison and Granny Suzy Maynord; an uncle, Denzil Gore; and his father and mother in-law, Harold M. and Janet Gore.

In adition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Stacey Gore, and a son, Lane Gore, both of Allons. Mike is also survived by a host of other family members, along with his church family and a host of friends.

Pallbearers were Mike Sells, Steve McMahan, Jason Crabtree, Roy Gore, Randy Gore, Travis Gore, Joe Cooper, and Dustin Vaughn.

Honorary pallbearers were Danny Wayne Maynord, Charles Maynord, Larry Peek, Jerry Crabtree, Bruce Dailey, Darrin Gore, Jeff Nivens, and Joe Sullivan.
