Marcia Chilton Martin
Funeral services for Mrs. Marcia Chilton Martin, 91, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, November 12, 2021, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. John Cahill officiating. Burial followed in Martin Cemetery.
Mrs. Marcia passed from this life Monday afternoon, November 8, 2021, from Overton County Health and Rehab.
She was a member of Shiloh Church and a 1950 graduate of Celina High School.
Marcia enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and cooking for her family. Her greatest joy in life was her family.
Born September 19, 1930, in Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Ebb and Mae Glidewell Chilton.
In addition to her parents, Marcia was preceded in death by three brothers, Marshall, Edgar, and Norman Chilton; and four sisters, Judy Garrett, Annie Uldriks, Adelene Underwood, and Evelyn Young.
Marcia leaves behind her loving husband of 71 years, Mr. James Martin of Livingston; two daughters, Sherry Nolan and husband Phil of Cookeville and Pam Head and husband Larry of Allons; a son, Eddie Martin and wife Rena of Rickman; four grandchildren, Jason Nolan and wife Stephanie, Patrick Officer, Jim Officer, and Will Martin; two great grandchildren, Ellie Nolan and Annabelle Nolan; a sister, Jane Buford of Battle Creek, MI; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers were Eddie Martin, Phil Nolan, Jason Nolan, Patrick Officer, Jim Officer, Larry Head, and Will Martin.
