Maddison “Maddie” Lanai Hall

Funeral services for Miss Maddison Lanai Hall, better known as Maddie, 7, of Jackson County, were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 2020, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Justin Reeder officiating. Burial followed in Cope Cemetery in Pickett County.

Maddie passed from this life Sunday, November 8, 2020, from Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.

Maddie was a 2nd grader and a member of Swallows Chapel Church of Christ. She was always a happy girl who enjoyed riding her bike and four-wheeler. Maddie always had a warm loving smile on her face, loved swinging from tree branches in her yard, and playing with her cat Pixie and her dogs Lillie and Mountain. She loved animals and playing games on her iPad.

Born December 6, 2012, in Cookeville, she was the daughter of Buddy and Misty Booher Hall.

Maddie was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Roger Booher and Bud Hall

Maddie leaves behind her loving parents, Buddy and Misty Hall of Gainesboro; a sister, Kylie Hunter and a brother, Braxton Hall, both of Gainesboro; two grandmothers, Brenda Franklin of Livingston and Irene Hall of Gainesboro; two aunts, Holly Oakley of Monroe and Miranda Hayes of Cookeville; two uncles, Calvin Booher of Hartsville and Michael Ogletree of Livingston; and several loving cousins.
