Christina Lynn Simmons
Funeral services for Mrs. Christina Lynn Simmons, 56, of Livingston, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 1, 2019, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Derek Copeland officiating. Burial was in Ledbetter Family Cemetery.
Mrs. Simmons passed from this life Wednesday afternoon, November 27, 2019, from her residence.
Christina loved to sing, go to church, spend time with her son Nicholas, and worship her Savior.
Born June 14, 1963, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Auda Avo Hammock Ledbetter.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Christina Simmons was preceded in death by her husband, Scott Alexander Simmons; and a brother-in-law, Chris Simmons.
Christina leaves behind her son Nicholas Simmons of Knoxville; three brothers, Daryle Ledbtter and wife Lisa of Celina, and Harold Ledbetter and Ricky Ledbetter and wife Tammy, all of Livingston; three sisters, Sandy Lawson and husband Bryan of Oxford, NC, Helen Lynn and husband Johnny of Gainesboro, and Nora Davidson and husband Michael of Livingston; three nieces, Stefania Gustafson, Emily Lawson, and Hanna Davidson; four nephews Adam Lawson, Reuben Davidson, Logan Ledbetter, and Matthew Lynn; her mother-in-law, Ann NeSmith of Morristown; and a special friend, Edith Roberts of Livingston.
Serving as pallbearers were Harold Ledbetter, Daryle Ledbetter, Rick Ledbetter, Timmy Hammock, David Cantrell, and Paul Gustafson.
