Beulah Mae Thompson

Funeral services for Mrs. Beulah Mae Thompson, 89, of the Dry Hollow Community of Overton County, were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2021, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home with Bro. Nolan Cantrell officiating. Interment followed in the Looper Family Cemetery.

Mrs. Thompson passed away Friday, April 2, 2021, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker, a garment factory worker, and a member of Pleasant Ridge Church.

Born April 9, 1931, in the Dry Hollow Community, she was the daughter of the late Haskell and Dorothy Raines Looper.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Archie D. Thompson; a son and daughter-in-law, Tommy And Wanda Gail Thompson; and a brother, W.J. Looper.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and David Miller of Rickman; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Sue Thompson of Livingston, Stanley and Velma Thompson of the Hardy’s Chapel Community, and Randall Thompson of the Dry Hollow Community; six grandchildren, Jason Thompson, April White, Melissa Ott, Michelle Neal, Mitzi Penticuff, and Amanda Sells; 12 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Etta Thompson of Algood and Anna Jean McCowan of Marion, IN.
