Funeral services for Mrs. Amy Green, 47, of the Poplar Springs Community of Cookeville, were held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 8, 2021, from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with Bro. Doug Hawkins officiating. Burial followed in Poplar Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Green passed from this life Monday, January 4, 2021, at Alive Hospice in Nashville.
Amy was a member of Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church. She loved her family and her church family and friends very much. She was loved very much and will be greatly missed.
Born January 4, 1974, in Nashville, she was the daughter of Glenda (Allen) Gamble and the late Erskin “Buddy” Gamble Davidson.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Herman and Lillian Allen and Ernest and Artie Gamble.
Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, Michael Green; a sister, Penny Gamble; a niece, Caitlan Watkins; a brother-in-law, Teddy Watkins; two aunts, Merle Marley and husband Jessie and Linda Slagle; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Pallbearers were Tim West, David West, Phillip Slagle, Josh Bilbrey, Dakota Perruzi, and Brian Copeland.
