Restored & Co. was named Retail Sector Small Business of the Year at Livingston-Overton County Chamber of Commerce’s annual awards ceremony held Thursday, Dec. 9 at One Bank of Tennessee. The Small Business of the Year award is presented to a business that is a member of the Chamber, has exceptional growth, innovative products, programs, or services, and provides exemplary customer service and volunteers in Livingston and Overton County.

Restored & Co began in the spring of 2018 when two friends decided to do a barn sale together to highlight and sell their products. Jennifer Shaw refurbished and painted furniture while Amanda King made custom signs and calligraphy. Their business grew from barn sales to booth sales at Picker’s Palace to having their own retail space very quickly. Recently they have expanded once more to the second level of the retail space at 103 East Court Square. They specialize in home décor, faith-based products, clothing, and custom furniture.

Livingston-Overton County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Shannon Cantrell said, “Jennifer and Amanda are always quick to volunteer and serve on local committees and boards. We are proud to have them as part of our Chamber, downtown square, and community.
