Fireworks followed the tree lighting ceremony Friday night, Nov. 29 to kick off Christmas in the Country, an annual tradition on the Livingston Courthouse Square. Downtown merchants remained open late and local businesses set up booths on the square. And Santa Claus rode in to participate in the tree-lighting ceremony before visiting with area children. Christmas in the Country is scheduled to return to the square this Friday, Dec. 6.
