Local author Jean Ann Mayberry will hold a book signing at The Emporium, 108 North Court Square in Livingston, between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29.
She will share from her book “Broken But Blessed” her photography, bits of humor, and foot-in-mouth moments including antics with her horses and dogs.
She shares the ups and downs of her life and others and reveals tragedies and triumphs over grief, illness, and loss, including the death of her daughter to a rare disease. Having spent her lifetime loving reading, writing, photography and color, she said she believed now was the perfect time to pull it all together.
The book includes stories by those in the community, as well as others from different areas of the country.
The 52-week devotional introduces readers to people who have trodden down the broken road, navigated the curves, and made the journey over the bridge to see what lies on the other side. Yet, with heartache they have found blessings in their circumstances.
