Jammin at Hippie Jacks, along with the Council of Americana Roots Music (C.O.A.R.M.), will host a benefit concert this Saturday, Sept. 28, at Hippie Jack Farm, located at 642 Shiloh Road in Crawford. Refreshments begin at 3 p.m. with music set to start at 5 p.m.
The event will feature musical performances by Grayson Capps and Nathan Bell, and is being held to benefit Operation Stand Down Tennessee.
Operation Stand Down Tennessee is a registered 501(c)(3) that focuses on helping all veterans and their families by engaging, equipping, and empowering them. They offer a wide range of services, including employment assistance, VA benefits assistance, networking, housing, and much more.
Barbeque will be sold with proceeds to go to the Mountain Cemetery Maintenance Fund.
Donations will also be accepted at the event, including gloves, hats, t-shirts, warm socks, sleeping bags, shoes, Walmart and Kroger gift cards, adult-sized men and women’s winter coats, and black or brown backpacks.
Hippie Jack’s will also offer free camping beginning at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, and continue through Saturday, the day of the concert.
