Livestock producers can apply for financial assistance as a result of the covid-19 outbreak sale declines through the USDA.
If producers sold livestock from January 15 - April 15, 2020 they can apply for cost assistance that ranges from $92-$139 dollars per animal.
Producers can also receive $33 dollars per head of animals owned between April 16 – May 14, 2020.
Also, lambs and hogs are available for cost assistance.

I have just received information that a couple of changes have been made regarding the Tennessee Ag Enhancement Program this coming fall.
The application period will be shortened one week. The application period will now be held October 1 - October 7, 2020.
Also, hay equipment will not be on the program in 2020, but will return in 2021.
Hay storage will be on the program this fall. Hay storage and equipment will rotate yearly on TAEP programs.
