To Be United In Matrimony May 29

& Miss Laura Ann Fitzgerald

Frank and Susan Fitzgerald, of Lafayette, proudly announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Laura Ann, to Jonathan Clint Melton, son of Terry and Robbie Melton of Livingston.

The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Macon County High School who obtained her degree in food science and technology at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 2007 before going on to obtain her pharmacy degree from UT in 2010. She is currently employed as a pharmacist at Walmart in Algood.

The groom-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Livingston Academy who obtained his degree in chemistry from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville in 2005 before going on to obtain his pharmacy degree from UT in 2009. He is currently employed as a pharmacist at Walgreen’s in Livingston and Cookeville.

The wedding will be held Sunday, May 29 at 4:30 p.m. at Del Monaco Winery in Baxter.

After their honeymoon, the couple plans to reside in Rickman.

Miss Slayton And Mr. Hargis
To Unite In Matrimony May 28

& Miss LeRae Lee Slayton

Mickey and Tena Ledbetter of Livingston and Jeff and Tracy Slayton of Crossville proudly announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, LeRae Lee Slayton, to Nathan Duane Hargis, son of Bud and Sheila Hargis of Monterey.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Danny and Kathy McDonald of Allons, Geneva Carter of Livingston, and the late Elmer Slayton. She is the great-granddaughter of Minnie Mae Buck of Livingston.

She is a 2010 graduate of the practical nursing program at Tennessee Technology Center at Livingston and is currently employed as a licensed practical nurse.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Anna Short of Monterey, Joyce Hargis of Alpine, and the late Kenneth Short and Eddie Hargis. He is the great-grandson of Laura Dixon.

He received his certificate in Industrial Maintenance from Tennessee Technology Center at Livingston and is currently employed by the City of Livingston.

The two will wed Saturday, May 28 at 4 p.m. at Fairview Freewill Baptist Church in Livingston. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church.
