To Be United In Matrimony June 4

& Mr. Scott Douglas Johnson

Jamie and Connie Cates of Allons proudly announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Christen Lee, to Scott Douglas Johnson, son of Jon and Kathy Younce and Doug and Teresa Johnson of Lenoir, NC.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Tom and Carol Sanders of Nashville; Margaret Cates of Old Hickory, the late James Wilson Cates; and the late Jodi and Byron Allen.

She is a 2003 graduate of Livingston Academy and graduated Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville with an Interdisciplinary degree in Sociology and Theatre in 2008. She later graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville in 2011 with a Master of Art degree in Counseling.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Glenn Cottrell of Boone, NC, the late Jean Cottrell; Meryl Johnson of West Jefferson, NC., and the late Wayne Johnson.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree at Belmont University in Nashville in 2007 and has recently been accepted into seminary at Westminster Seminary near San Diego, CA.

The two will unite in matrimony Saturday, June 4 at the Wooded Wedding Chapel at the Cates residence overlooking Dale Hollow Lake.

After the wedding, the couple plans to honeymoon on the Riviera Maya in Mexico before making their home in Nashville, where they plan to stay at least through the summer.

To Be United In Matrimony June 25

Miss Kaysha Walker

Rick Walker and Della Carden of Allons proudly announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daugther, Kaysha Walker, to Graham Sells, son of Mark and Tammie Sells of Livingston.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Hetti Watkins of Livingston, the late George Watkins; and Ruby Walker of Livingston.

She is a 2007 graduate of Livingston Academy and a 2011 graduate of Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, where she earned her degree in Early Childhood Education.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Norman and Bobbie Copeland and Jim and Bobbie Sells, all of Livingston.

He is a 2007 graduate of Livingston Academy and a 2010 graduate of Tennnessee Technological University in Cookeville, where he earned his degree in Biology. He is currently a student at the College of Pharmacy at Lipscomb University in Nashville.

The wedding will be held Saturday, June 25 at Livingston Church of Christ at 6:30 p.m.

After exchanging nuptials, the couple plans to honeymoon in Jamaica before returning to make their home in Nashville while the groom attends school.
