Robert H. Almon
Mr. Robert H. Almon, 63, of Clarkrange, TN died Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center. He was a comptroller and bookkeeper. He enjoyed reading, music, and hiking.

Born June 6, 1947 in Gadsden, AL, he was the son of the late Robert Almon, Sr. and Virginia E. Hicks. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Crystal Qualls.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy (Brown) Almon of Clarkrange; a daughter, Ginger Almon of Dalton, GA; a sister, Judith Ingemie of New York; and 2 grandchildren, Anthony Qualls of Livingston and Andrea Almon of Dalton, GA.

Rose (Keen) Key
Funeral services for Mrs. Rose (Keen) Key, 69, of the Timothy Community of Overton County, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2011 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home, with Bro. Marlon Winningham officiating.

Burial was in Keen Cemetery.

Mrs. Key died Tuesday, May 10 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville.

She was a CNA at Overton County Nursing Home and a member of Neelys Crossroads Church of Christ.

Born June 18, 1941 in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Carlie Keen and Hazel (Bilbrey) Keen Carr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Key; a brother, Jack Keen; and a sister, Kathy Upton.

Survivors include a son, Alan Key of Timothy Community; a daughter, Vicky Dubree of Livingston; 2 sisters, Barbara Stevens of Brentwood, TN and Zelma Ferrell of Timothy Community; 4 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Debbie A. (Walker) Thrasher
Funeral services for Mrs. Debbie A. (Walker) Thrasher, 49, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home, with Bro. Cecil Shaw officiating.

Burial was in St. John Cemetery.

Mrs. Thrasher died Thursday, May 12, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She had been a factory worker at Hutchinson and a member of Free Communion Church of Christ.

Born September 12, 1961 in Overton County, she was the daughter of Johnnie (Hammock) Walker of the Highland Mountain Community, and the late Millard Walker.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, Randy Thrasher of Livingston; a son, Dustin Thrasher of Livingston; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Heather and Jimmy White and Holly and Brandon Cross, all of Livingston; 2 brothers, Buddy Hammock of Rickman and Ed Hammock of Livingston; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Benny Sells of Livingston, and Diane and David Ayers of Highland Mountain Community; a mother- and father-in-law, Faye and Eddie Thrasher; 2 sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Lisa Scott and Steve and Diann Thrasher; and 5 grandchildren, Josh White, Halie White, Hannah White, Leah Cross, and Damien Thrasher.

Pallbearers were Jimmy White, Brandon Cross, Steve Thrasher, Jordan Thrasher, Mike Long, Paul Korth, Josh White, Steve Sells, and David West.
