Tenley Ann Holland
Graveside services for Miss Tenley Ann Holland, infant daughter of Lance Anthony and Leslie Ann (Poston) Holland of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2011 from Eckels Cemetery, with Bro. Ken Williams officiating.

Miss Williams was born and died Tuesday, March 22 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Myrtle and Farley Reagan; D.T. Poston; and Jack Dillehay.

Survivors include, in addition to her parents, an uncle, Derrick Poston; 2 aunts, Kassie Bennett and Paige Holland; grandparents, Billie Poston of Livingston; Joel Poston of Livingston; Terry and Arlisa Bennett of Rickman; and Mark and Sandra Holland of Carthage; great-grandparents, Imogene Poston of Livingston, Kasel Dillehay of Defeated Creek Community; Myra Lee of Carthage; Clyde and Jewel Bennett of Rickman; and Glenn Greene of Brush Creek Community.

Howard D. Ledford

Funeral services for Mr. Howard D. Ledford, 74, of Greenfield, IN, were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011 from the chapel of Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield, with Pastor Larry Fannin officiating.

Burial was in Philadelphia Cemetery.

Mr. Ledford died Tuesday, March 22 in Greenfield. He retired from Assembly at Delco Remy in 1999 after 31 years of service. He was a life member of NRA, who loved camping, fishing, and eating sweets.

Born June 23, 1936 in Overton County, he was the son of the late J.T. and Annie Beatrice (Bowmer) Ledford.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry L. (Cronk) Ledford of Greenfield, whom he married in Ogden, IN on September 24, 1960; a daughter and son-in-law, Tonia and Randolph Miller of Greenfield; a son, Steven Ledford of Greenfield; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Margaret Ledford of Greenfield, Danny and Diane Ledford of Tennessee, and Jim and Terri Ledford of Indiana; 3 sisters and a brother-in-law, Diane Ledford of Florida, Judy and Randall Burke of Tennessee, and Sandra Storm of Oregon; 2 grandchildren, Christopher Miller and his fiance, Ashley Sterrett, and Heather Miller; 2 great-grandchildren, Taylor Miller and Sadie Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Burneth “Neda” (Burgess) Medlin
Funeral services for Mrs. Burneth “Neda” (Burgess) Medlin, 82, of Cookeville, were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011 from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home, with Bro. Mark Loftis officiating.
Burial was in Netherland Cemetery in Rickman.

Mrs. Medlin died Sunday, March 20, at NHC Healthcare. She was a homemaker and attended Netherland Church of Christ for more than 40 years.

Born September 27, 1928 in Jackson County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Edna (Lambert) Burgess.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Lewis and Phyllis Medlin of Rickman; a daughter and son-in-law, Cathy Dilldine and Harvey Summers of Cookeville; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Marilyn June and Jack Russell, and Irma Huntsma, all of Cookeville; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, James and Ellen Burgess of Cookeville, and Ernie Burgess of Myrtle Beach, SC; a sister-in-law, Lola Douglas and her husband, Pharris, of Mt. Juliet; a brother-in-law, Raymond Pharris of Granville, TN; a granddaughter, Heather Wright and her husband, Jerrod, of Rickman; 3 grandsons, Blake Medlin and his wife, Lucretia, of Rickman, Heath Dilldine and his wife, LeAnn, and Stuart Dilldine, all of Cookeville; 2 great-granddaughters; 3 great-grandsons; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Dale Pharris, Heath Dilldine, Jared Wright, James Burgess, and Rick Flatt.

Michael Larry Stephens

Funeral services for Mr. Michael Larry Stephens, 63, of Livingston, were conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2011 from First Christian Church in Livingston, with Rev. Dee Wells officiating.

Burial was in Good Hope Cemetery.

Mr. Stephens died Thursday, March 17, in Hendersonville, TN. He was co-owner of Progressive Engineering Co. and a member of First Christian Church.

Born March 1, 1948 in Overton County, he was the son of the late Larry G. and Mary Gene (Speck) Stephens. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Carol Stephens.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Stephens of Livingston; a son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Courtney Stephens of Arlington, TN; a daughter and son-in-law, April and Jason Travis of Hendersonville, TN; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Rita Upton of Goodlettsville, TN and Diane and Raymond White of Cookeville; and 2 grandchildren, Jacob Travis and Gabi Travis, both of Hendersonville.

Pallbearers were David Upton, Raymond White IV, Keith Bellanfant, Nathan Kirkwood, Jason Stephens, and Jason Travis.

Honorary pallbearers were Jack Davis, Jerry Stovall, Travis Puckett, and David Mayberry.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church.

Margie (Daniels) Wilborn
Funeral services for Mrs. Margie (Daniels) Wilborn, 78, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2011 from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home, with Bro. Ken Williams officiating.

Burial was in St. Johns Cemetery in Clay County.

Mrs. Wilborn died Thursday, March 24, at her home. She was a homemaker and attended Livingston Church of Christ.

Born October 2, 1932 in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Ruby (Garrett) Daniels. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cord Huey Wilborn; 2 daughters, Mary Freed and Lois Wilborn; a son, Charles Daniels; a step-son, David Wilborn; 2 brothers, Noel Daniels and Carl Daniels; and 2 sisters, Betty
Allred and Peggy Bullock.

Survivors include her son, Wayne Wilborn of Sparta; 4 daughters, Barbara Ferrell of Hilham, Ruby Robinson of Terre Haute, IN, Sue Kesty and Patsy Wilborn, both of Livingston; 8 step-children, Lloyd Wilborn of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Louis Wilborn and Dimple Aaron, both of Carolina Beach, NC, Joe Wilborn of Las Vegas, NV, Pauline Smith of Livingston, Ruth Leahy of Fort Mills, SC, Joyce Bridgeman of Carmi, IL, and Cordia Long of Akron, OH; 2 brothers, Gene Daniels of Albany, IN and Kenneth Daniels of Muncie, IN; 3 sisters, Helen Pierce of Rickman, Judy Hughs of Livingston, and Anna Winningham of Ridgeville, IN; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren; 16 step-great-grandchildren; and 6 step-great-great-grandchildren also survive.

Pallbearers were Michael Ferrell, Dustin Boles, Ronnie Braddam, Kenneth Kesty, Christopher Dial, and Dimple Aaron.

Honorary pallbearers were Cody Boles and Justin Ferrell.
