Livingston Impact wins World Series

Livingston Impact 8 and under slowpitch softball team won the SEAA Slow Pitch World Series this past weekend in Pigeon Forge. They went 5-1 overall (2-1 in pool play, with the one loss being in pool play by 1 point). This was their first tournament together.

The team played the West Cobb team from Georgia in the Championship on Saturday. Easton Crush place second in tourney



The Easton Crush Under 16 softball team placed second in the USSSA A/B State Fastpitch Tournament in Gallatin on Saturday and Sunday, July 10 through 11. The team will be playing in the SEAA World Series in Pigeon Forge beginning Tuesday, July 20. Coach awards home run trophies to players

Local baseball team plays in tournament

Blue Devils baseball team played in a tournament at the Robert M. Lindsay Field on the University of Tennessee campus on Friday, July 2 and Saturday, July 3. They traveled to Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, KY this past weekend and hope to travel to more colleges in the summer. The team has been playing well and they are getting a lot of exposure to college scouts. Members are, from left, Jaylen Qualls, Logan Hicks, Jordan Collier, Forrest Driver, Jim Officer, Kieran Mayberry, Carson Bailey, Josh Johnson, and T. J. Hammock. Not pictured is Lucas Dailey. The team is coached by Tony Johnson, Jeremy Ezell, and Pat Officer.

Team MOJO finishes first in tourney

Tennessee MOJO, 6 and under Fast Pitch team won first place at the Red, White & Blue bash in Mt. Juliet on Saturday, July 3. The team was sponsored by Overton County Farm Bureau Insurance.
