to unite in matrimony Oct. 10

and Mr. Erik Cope

Miss Starlena Reni Blaylock and Mr. Erik Nathaniel Cope announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Blaylock. A 2004 graduate of Monterey High School and a 2007 graduate of Roane State Community College, where she earned a degree as a paralegal, she is employed by Moore, Rader, Clift, and Fitzpatrick, P.C. in Cookeville.

The future groom is the son of the late Sheena Tyran Cope, and the adopted son of the late William D. Cope and Nennie Cope of Livingston.

A 1999 graduate of Livingston Academy and a 2006 graduate of Tennessee Technological University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, he is employed by Bank of Putnam County.

The couple will exchange vows on Sunday, Oct. 10 at Cumberland Cove Baptist Church in Monterey. Formal invitations will be sent.

After the ceremony, the couple plans to reside in Cookeville.
