Mr. and Mrs. Willie Colson announced the marriage of their daughter, Edith, to Roy Sewell of Sparta.
Mr. and Mrs. Iver Mordock of Columbia have been visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hughie Moredock.
Mrs. Bonnie Shipley and Mr. and Mrs. Grady Brown of Bedford, Ind. were visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Melton.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Longford and daughter, Deborah, of Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs. Harold Brooks and children of Maryville have recently visited their mother, Mrs. Mose Stover.
Frosty Nelson of Miami, Fla. is visiting his sister, Mrs. Willie Colson.
Mr. and Mrs. Josh Melton of Newcastle have been guests of Mr. and Mrs. Shester Murray.
It’s a new girl, named Glenda Gayle, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Cyphers.
A baby boy has arrived at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Daniels.
Sam Watson and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Griffith and children of McMinnville were recent guests of Mrs. Mose Stover.
Mr. and Mrs. Orville Mabry of Indianapolis, Ind. were visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oat Mabry.
Mrs. Belle Phillips is suffering with a broken arm.
Mr. and Mrs. J.B Johnson of Indianapolis, Ind. were visitors at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Phillips.

Many are mourning the death of Argel Stover, son of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Stover of Algood.
Connie Dell Stover has returned from a visit with her sister, Mrs. Gaynell Brooks of Maryville.

Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Martin of Illinois are visiting with relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. T.V. Martin visited Mrs. Mae Clark last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Vaden Daniels of Sparta spent the weekend with their daughter, Mrs. Forest Long.
Mr. and Mrs. Lesley Glasscock and children and Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Greenwood of Timothy enjoyed a picnic at Willow Grove.
