ABrief Review of 1956 in Overton and Pickett Counties

Mrs. Wallace Allred, Donnie, Mrs. J.D. Speck, Jimmie Lee, and Mrs. Lonnie Turner attended the birthday celebration Sunday of their grandfather Mr. D.R. Todd of Roslin. He is 86 years old, has 9 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, 88 great-great-grandchildren. About 130 relatives and friends called during the day. A bountiful day was enjoyed by all. He received many nice and useful gifts.
