Cale Emett Parsons

Buck and Mary Ellen Parsons proudly announce the birth of their son Cale Emett. He was born on Sunday, May 3 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He weighed 7 lbs. 12 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches in length.

He is the grandson of Bucky and Lamoine Parsons and Joe and Susan Upton all of Livingston. He is the great grandson of Mary Helen Apple of Livingston and the late Freeman Apple and the late Roy Hugh and Sarah Ruth Upton and the late Martha Bea and Everett Parsons and the late Dorothy and Richard Hollis.

Also welcoming him home was his big brother Brody.

Coy Mason Smith

Eysha Pryor and Adam Smith of Livingston proudly announce the birth of their son Coy Mason Smith. He was born at 3:07 p.m., Thursday, July 30 at Livingston Regional Hospital.

He weighed 7 lbs. 5 oz. He is the grandson of Ronnie and Clara Smith of Livingston, Shelia Adams of Cookeville, and Jerry Pryor of Sparta.

Also welcoming him home was big brother Abel.


Kaylynn Gwen Smith


Josh Smith and Ashley Thrasher of Livingston proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Kaylynn Gwen Smith, who was born Friday, May 29 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She weighed 7 lbs. and 13 oz. and was 19.5 inches in length.

She is the granddaughter of Kimberly K. Smith of Allons, Thomas Smith of Allons, Kim and Chris Thrasher of Livingston, and the late Mitzi Seber.

She is the great-granddaughter of J.T. and Mildred Smith of the Timothy Community and Janice Allred and Rose and Bill Gray, all of Livingston.
Also welcoming her home was her big sister, Madison Grace Smith.

Tosha Danielle Bullock, daughter of Tammy and Clark Dillon of Hilham and Danny Bullock of Burkesville, KY joined Nicholas Allen Shelton, son of Allen and Faye Shelton in matrimony on Saturday, May 16 in Pigeon Forge.

Mrs. Shelton is the granddaughter of Barabara and Harrison Smith of Hilham and the late Haskell and Ella Bullock.

Mr. Shelton is the grandson of Bennis and Dorothy Shelton of Albany, KY and Etta Jean Blankenship of Newcomb and the late Audrey Blankenship.

to unite in matrimony September 26

& Miss Christie Dawn Holman

Terry and Debbie Holman of Livingston announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Christie Dawn Holman, to Donald Clay Hill III, son of Donald Clay Hill Jr. and the late Betty Grissom Hill of McMinnville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Arlis and AnnaLee Holman, and the late Mary Odell Hix Crabtree and Dewey Hix.

She is a 1994 graduate of Livingston Academy and a 1998 graduate of Middle Tennessee State University. She is employed as a Corporate Trainer with Remarketing Solutions in Nashville.

The groom is the grandson of Donald Clay Hill of McMinnville, and the late Lucille Hill, and the late Lloyd and Retha Grissom.

He is a 1990 graduate of Warren County High and is employed with Murfreesboro City Water Department as a Senior Operator.

The wedding is planned for 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 at the North Boulevard Church of Christ, Murfreesboro. Formal invitations have been sent.

The couple will honeymoon in the Grand Cayman Islands.

Gene and Maura Medley of Livingston proudly announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Allison Medley to Vince Ogle son of Timmy and Jane Ogle of Flintville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Bill and Gertha Medley.

She is a 2005 graduate of Livingston Academy and a 2009 graduate of the University of Tennessee with a bachelors degree in Animal Science.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Billy and Helena Ogle and Juanita Towry.

He is a 2005 graduate of Huntland High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Tennessee with a bachelors degree in Animal Science and a minor in Agriculture Economics.

The wedding will take place at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17 at the First United Methodist Church in Livingston.
