WILLIE CLAY GEESLING
Graveside services for Mr. Willie Clay Geesling, 57, of Hilham, were conducted at 1 p.m., Wednesday, October 21, 2009, from Campground Cemetery with Bro. Dewey Masters officiating.

Mr. Geesling died Sunday, October 18 at his home. He was a farmer.
Born May 5, 1952 in Overton County, he was the son of the late Vester and Ruth (Franklin) Geesling.

Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Mayford and Sally Geesling of Hilham; an aunt, Mary Dodson of Cookeville; a niece, Erica Geesling of Hilham; a first cousin, Jerry Davis; a special cousin, Freddie Bennett; and special friends, Randall Crabtree, Trenda Henry, Dakota Loftis, and Audrey Henry.

Pallbearers were Randall Crabtree, Charles Geesling, Randall Riddles, Stevie Rector, Clayton Pennycuff, and Dakota Loftis.

ONSBY OLEDA (LANGFORD) PARDUE
Funeral services for Mrs. Onsby Oleda (Langford) Pardue, 73, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 25, 2009 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Beaty and Bro. Jerry Harris officiating.

Burial was in Fredonia Cemetery.

Mrs. Pardue died Friday, October 23, at her home. She had been a factory employee with Chrysler Corporation and was a member of Fredonia
Community Church.

Born November 9, 1935 in Hilham, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Ora (Carter) Langford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Emery Blevins.

Survivors include her husband, Carlis E. Pardue of Livingston; a daughter and son-in-law, Lavonna and Charlie Deck of Livingston; a sister, Omega Blevins of Livingston; a brother, Grady Langford of Monroe; a special sister-in-law, Elenor White of Livingston; 2 grandchildren, Christopher Morrison and Rebecca Gunnels; 6 great-grandchildren, Virginia Miller, Elijah Miller, Austin Miller, Joseph Morrison, Gabriel Morrison, and Rhiannon Morrison; and other family and friends.

Pallbearers were T.J. Gunnels, Gage Gunnels, Anthony White, Scott Copeland, Christopher Morrison, Danny Pardue, Elijah Miller, and Austin Miller.

MARY (BARNES) SMITH
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary (Barnes) Smith, 93, of Monterey, were conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 22, 2009 from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Kirby officiating.

Burial was in Phillips Cemetery in Hanging Limb, TN.

Mrs. Smith died Monday, October 19 at Cookeville Regional Hospital. She was a retired factory worker.

Born February 29, 1916 in Marion County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lizzie (Reed) Barnes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Ray Smith, Sr.; an infant daughter, Jerry Ellen Smith; a sister, Martha Henry; a brother, Melvin Barnes; and 3 grandchildren.

Survivors include 4 daughters, Charlene Smith of Twinton Community, Clara Maxfield, Velma Ledbetter, and Anna Ledford, all of Monterey; 3 sons, Arnold Smith of Cravenstown Community, George Smith and Mickey Smith, both of Twinton Community; a step-son, Ray Smith, Jr. of Grimsley, TN; a sister, Edna Pulley of Camby, IN; 2 brothers, Paul Barnes of Monterey, and Alvin Barnes of Mooresville, IN; 21 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
