LENA (SISCO) MOORE BOULLY
Funeral services for Mrs. Lena (Sisco) Moore Boully, 88, were conducted graveside at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 14, 2009 in the Welch Memorial Cemetery in Monterey, with Rev. Johnny Bowman officiating.

Mrs. Boully died Friday, Jauary 30, 2009 in Safety Harbor, FL. She was a loving mother and friend, and very devoted to her family.

Born November 17, 1920 in Crawford, TN, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Slina (Hensley) Sisco. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Paul Moore and Arly Boully; 2 brothers Carlen Sisco and Maywood Sisco; and a sister Margaret Hargis.

Survivors include a daughter Carol Sue Rash and a son, Jerry Moore, both of Safety Harbor, FL; 2 grandsons, Gerald Moore and Chris Moore; and 3 great-grandchildren, Ssienna Moore, Madalynn Moore, and Lillian Moore.

DELMA BROWN
Funeral services for Mrs. Delma Brown, 84, of Livingston were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2009 the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Short and Bro. Anthony Smith officiating.

Burial was in The Overton County Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Brown died Sunday, February 15, 2009 at Masters Healthcare Center.
She was a member of Liberty Freewill Baptist Church and a flea market merchant.

Born June 3, 1924 in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mae Ledbetter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Luther Frank Brown; 3 brothers Roy Ledbetter, Ray Ledbetter, and Lonzie Ledbetter; and 2 sisters Nola Collins and Allie
Hawkins.

She is survived by 2 sons and one daughter in law, Robert and Diane Brown, and Jackie Brown, all of Livingston; 1 daughter and son in law Wilma and Garland Wheeler, of Cookeville; a sister Zella Carr, of Livingston; 4 grandchildren, Bobby Brown, Donell Brown, Jane Wheeler Smith, and David Wheeler; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were her grandsons and nephews.

SHIRLEY HILL
Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Hill, 72 of Livingston were held Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 1 p.m. from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home with Bro. Aron Dillon and Bro. Charles Rice officiating.

Burial was in Booher Cemetery in the Monroe community.

Mrs. Hill died Monday, February 9, 2009 at her home.

She was born August 27, 1936, in Albany, KY. She was the daughter of the late Ordra Carson and Alva Dean (McDonald) Robbins.

Survivors include her husband J. D. Hill of Livingston; 2 sons and daughters in law, Richard and Jennifer Hill of Livingston, and James Dwight and Liz Hill of Byrdstown; 1 daughter and son in law, Denise and Mike Lockhart of Livingston; 3 sisters, Kaye Williams of Hardy’s Chapel, Agnes Moody of Livingston, and Diana Nevins of Cookeville; 1 brother Ordra “Jack” Robbins Jr. of Allons; 8 grandchildren, Chris, Tonya, Jereme, Misty, Ashley, Ellie, Emma, and Norah; and 2 greatgrandchildren Micalyn and Jake.

Pallbearers were Billy Moody, Barry Moody, Darren Williams, Greg Robbins, J. R. Hill, Johnny Hill, Lynn King, Vance Williams and Dale King.

WARNER JACKSON HUTTON
Mr. Warner Jackson Hutton, 81, of Cookeville, died Monday, February 9, 2009 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Born April 29, 1927 in Pulaski, TN, he retired from the United States Navy after 20 years of service. He remained an active member of Fleet Reserve Association. He was a very dear and cherished husband, father, uncle, and friend.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 24 years, Mary Estilene Hunter of Cookeville; a son, Jesse Hutton of Hendersonville, TN; 2 daughters, Cindy Hutton of Murfreesboro, and Catherine Ericson of Graham, NC; 4 grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

LORENE MORROW
Funeral services for Mrs. Lorene Morrow, of Jasper, IN, 84, were held at the United Pentocostal Church in Jasper, IN at 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2009 with Rev. Judy Braham officiating. Services continued at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with
Rev. Tom Lyles officiating.

Burial was in Coffee Cemetery in the Monroe area.

Mrs. Morrow died Sunday, February 15, 2009 in the Northwood Retirement Community Center in Jasper.

Born November 9, 1924 in Livingston, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Delta (Allred) Winningham. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lonzo Morrow.

Lorene was a homemaker and a member of the United Pentocostal Church in Jasper, IN.

She is survived by 2 daughters and son in laws, Sue and Dexter Hensley of Jasper, and Maxine and John Lisby, of Birdseye; 3 sons, Lonzo M. Morrow, of Huntingburg, IN, Robert Morrow, of Birdseye, and Carl Morrow, of Winslow; 2 sisters, Lola Mae Coffee, of Cookeville and Tootsie Dillon of Cookeville; 1 brother, Eb Winningham, of Algood; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Joseph Morrow, Jason Morrow, Danny Morrow, Steven Morrrow, Allen Morrow, and Judy Marcum.

EFFIE JEWEL RUPE
Funeral services for Ms. Effie Jewel Rupe, 76, of Crawford, were conducted Sunday, February, 15, 2009 at 5 p.m. from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Farley officiating.

Burial was held in The Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Muncie, IN at 3 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2009.

Ms. Rupe died Friday, February 13, 2009 at Livingston Regional Hospital.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Vines Ridge Baptist Church.

Born January 3, 1933 in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late John Lee and Marie (Henry) Johnson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 1 sister Kathern Robbins; 2 brothers Chester Johnson, and John L. Johnson; and a special nephew B. J. Johnson.

Survivors include 2 brothers J. P. Johnson of Muncie, IN and Jim Johnson of Rickman.
