Will Rogers Stars In Show Coming Here
“David Harum” starring Will Rogers won the box office blue ribbon award for family entertainment, offered by the National Screen Committee.
The committee selected from truly representative civic and religious groups, newspaper men and exhibitors throughout the nation endorsed this picture. Emphasis is placed on the wholesome character of the film; not a shady situation, or a double meaning bit of dialogue is found in the 80 minutes of the feature’s running time. “David Harum” is being played at the Dixie Theater Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, August 9-10-11.
It is a human story in which Rogers, as a small-town banker and horse swapper, creates laughs by his intensely interesting portrayal of a great personality. You will also cry.
