Mr. and Mrs. Carson Cravens of Helena announce the birth of a daughter, Thursday, June 16th at T. J. Sampson’s community hospital in Glasgow, Ky.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Averitt and son were guests of Mrs. Averitt’s parents, at Alpine Sunday.

Miss Edna Crabtree returned home with her sister, Mrs. Simcox to Battle Creek, Mich.

Miss Dixie Harrison has returned to her home at Byrdstown after another year at Berea, Ky.

Mrs. Roy J. Smith visited her sister at Monterey last Wednesday.

Charlie Morgan spent last week-end at home.

Mrs. Jim Webb was in Knoxville Thursday.

Mrs. J. W. Thedford and daughter were in Crossville last Sunday.

Mrs. John H. Williams of Paran visited friends here last Sunday.

Yelton Maynord was in Crossville Sunday.

Mrs. Bethel Zackery and Mrs. L. F. Zackery of Byrdstown visited here last Wednesday.

Mrs. George Boswell is very ill at his home in Livingston.

Miss Gladys Gunter of Ivyton was the week-end guest of her uncle, J. W. Brown and family in Livingston.

Mrs. Bettie Maynord of Taylor’s Cross Roads visited friends in Livingston last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Amon Norris of Nashville are visiting Mr. Norris’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. Center Norris at Alpine this week.

Bill Coleman of Knoxville visited his parents at Taylors’ Cross Roads recently.

Jones Hill, after spending some time here with his parents, returned to Akron, O., accompanied home by his mother, Mrs. W. P. Hill. He is critically ill.

Mrs. W. M. Roberts and Douglas White were in Nashville Saturday.
Misses Elizabeth and Mildred Mitchell of Crossville were guests of their parents, over the week-end.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Spurrier were in Monticello, Ky., Wednesday.
Ike Norris visited Pleas Stover at his home near Free Communion, who is ill.

Mrs. S. B. Howard and daughters, Mrs. Bob Green and Truman Jordan of Detroit visited Mrs. Howard’s sister, Mrs. Forest Arney at Duncan Bottom Tuesday.

Mrs. Harrison Loftis of Birmingham, was here last week visiting relatives.
