Alpine Parish News
9:45 a.m. – Sunday school of Christ church at Miller Hall.

11 a.m. Morning worship, a service pointing to the General assembly, with the theme. “Our Presbyterian Church.”

2 p.m. – Sunday school at Oak Dale.

2 p.m. – Sunday school at Miller Chapel in Ivyton-Joppa church.

3 p.m. – Worship service, Rev. Cash D. Kreigh preaching at Miller Chapel with Mrs. Kreigh rendering selections upon the marimba phone.

6:45 p.m. – Christian Endeavor Society of Christ Church at S. A. D. Smith cottage.

Tonight (Friday): Meeting of the young people of Ivyton-Joppa at Miller Chapel, for the purpose of organizing a Christian Endeavor Society.

Tomorrow night (Saturday): Young People’s club of Alpine, led by Miss Dorman, presenting the comedy “Lindy Lou” at Midway, for the purpose of furnishing clean entertainment to the community, and also, rebuilding Christ church. This play is to be carried to Jamestown for presentation next Tuesday night.

Wednesday night: Christ church choir practice and prayer meeting at 7 p.m.
A cordial invitation is extended to all who are free at these hours to worship with us and to carry forward a community program for the Master.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Neely visited their uncle, John Neely last Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Meek Pryor visited his brother, Bill Pryor one day last week.

Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Ledbetter visited Mr. and Mrs. Shirley Sullivan last Sunday.

Rev. P. L. Ramsey will preach at Ruth Chapel next Sunday.

Bill Masters of Flat creek has gone to Kansas to see his son, who is ill.

Arthur Beasley visited Miss Grova Crawford last Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Willie Brown visited their mother, Mrs. T. C. Brown last Saturday night.

Mrs. Lonza Ledbetter visited Mrs. Bill Worley Wednesday afternoon.
Miss Vella Williams visited her brother, Joe Williams and Mrs. Williams recently.

Mrs. Carson Smith visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Paul last week.

Billie Fletcher who has been ill, is improving.

J. W. Sweat attended church at Allons Sunday.

Miss Nora White visited Mrs. Alfred White one day last week.

Lester Coleman has returned home from Detroit.

S. H. Smith was in Livingston last Saturday.

Mrs. Joe Williams visited her sister Mrs. Caston Sevier Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Carland Allred and little son, visited Mrs. Allred’s parents Mr. and Mrs. John Sevier last Sunday.

Copeland Cove
There is a Sunday school every Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Johnson’s Hollow. Everyone invited.

Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Ferrill are the proud parents of a baby boy.

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Reynolds spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Hass Huddleston and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Lee Carmack spent Sunday with Irving Allred.

Myrtle McDonald is visiting her sister, Mrs. Aaron Ferrill.

Miss Connie Carr entertained some of the young people with a birthday dinner at her home Sunday.
