Mr. and Mrs. Henry Neely visited Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Qualls Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Carr and two daughters, Mary Ann and Martha Dell, Coopertown, Tenn., visited his father, D. T. Carr and family last weekend.

Charles Brown of Roberson County, is visiting his mother, Mrs. T. C. Brown.

H. B. Neely of Greenbrier, and his son, Buford, and wife visited his sister, Mrs. Malaie Brown, and attended Sunday school at Ruth’s Chapel Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Qualls visited Walter Ledbetter, Sunday.

Abner Poston of Oak Hill, was in town, Saturday.

Will Crawford of Alpine, was in town Monday on business.

Mrs. Martha Wolf who has been ill is better.

Little Bobygene Reed is ill with measels.

Mrs. Mary Danner of Flat Creek, visited her sister, Mrs. Shirley Bilbrey last Sunday.


Alvin Capps died April 21, and was buried at Friendship.

Mrs. C. A. Sells is ill.

Mrs. Mary Berry, who has been ill for some time is improving slowly.

People of this community are busy planting and preparing to plant corn.

Carson Smith and Miss Clara Paul were married Sunday.

A large crowd attended preaching and singing at Cross Roads Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Howard Sells announces the birth of a son.

A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fletcher, April 10.

On April 20, a daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Smith.

Clare Brown and family visited Mrs. Brown’s mother Sunday.

Winningham Saturday.
