Mr. and Mrs. Cyle Deprest and daughters, and Miss Evelyn Vittebor, of Nashville, were the week-end guests of J. J. Wiggins.

Mr. and Mrs. Cordell Alred and son, of Livingston, visited Mr. and Mrs. George Dishman Sunday.

Miss Mildred Haney, of Shady Grove is visiting her grandmother, Mrs. Sallie Haney.

Misses Avo and Ova Haney had as their guests Sunday, Miss Elsie Mae Boatman and Miss Martha Jane Boatman.

Mr. and Mrs. Gaskell Warren had as their guests Sunday afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Harp, Mr. and Mrs. Harve Warren, Chatt Freeman, Willian Haney, Loyd and Iva Jewell Daniels.

Mrs. James Langford, Miss Linnie Langford, Miss Laura Freeman and Lane Pearl Vanmeter visited Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Thompson Sunday.

Italy Bilbrey of Crossville, visited his mother, Mrs. Marielia Bilbrey, Monday.

The Rev. Isaac Wood of Baxter, filled his regular appointment here Sunday.

He spent Saturday night with Sidney Copeland, visited M. A. Copeland Sunday, and sent Sunday night with Burr Qualls.

Mrs. Manda Matthews is very ill.

Miss Clara Belle Laycock of Oak Hill visited Miss Mabel Laycock last week-end.

Miss Geraldine West of Hilham, is spending this week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Olin Qualls.

The Rev. George Matthews, former preacher at the Baptist Church here, died recently at Chattanooga.

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Copeland have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Tom Oakley.

Mr. and Mrs. Carlie Goodpasture and son, Robert, and Clyde, of Tipton, Okla. visited Mr. and Mrs. Otha Qualls Tuesday.

Luther Harris of Norris, recently visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Harris.

Mrs. George L. West, formerly known here as Hattie Knight, died recently at her home in Oklahoma.

Mrs. J. D. West and Mr. and Mrs. Claud Andrews and daughter, Roberta, of Rickman, spent the day Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Otha Qualls.
