Zayden Gene Gantt

Zachary and Miranda Gantt of Livingston proudly announce the birth of their son Zayden Gene Gantt.

He was born on Monday, Oct. 6 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

He weighed 9 lbs. 9 oz. and measured 20 3/4 inches in length.

He is the grandson of Marla Bilbrey and the late Gene Bilbrey of Rickman, Gene and Tracey Gantt of Hilham and Robin Gantt of Cookeville.

Weddings
Miss Boswell & Mr. Webb join in marriage on August 30


Mr. and Mrs. David Webb

Jennifer Leigh Boswell and David Webb, both of Cookeville, were married Saturday, Aug. 30 at 3:30 p.m. at the home of the bride in an outdoor ceremony officiated by Bro. Carles Walker.

The bride is the daughter of Paul and Pat Boswell of Cookeville.

She wore a white, strapless A-line gown with a champagne sash. She also wore a simple white veil and carried a bouquet of persimmon roses and Calla lilies.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was Julie Boswell of Nashville, sister of the bride. Other attendants included Cara Sheets and Lindsey Bybee, both of Cookeville, and Cayce Rossie and Kelly Cramer, both of Nashville, all friends of the bride.

The attendants wore chocolate-colored, knee-length taffeta dresses with persimmon sashes and carried bouquets of persimmon Calla lilies.

The groom is the son of John and Sarah Johnnie Webb of Livingston.
Attending the groom as best man was Matt Swallows of Cookeville, friend of the groom. Other attendants included Chad Colwell of Smithville, Mark Kent of Lascassas and Steve McDonald of Sparta, friends of the groom.

The bride was given away in marriage by her father.

A reception, given by the bride’s parent’s, was held at their home immediately following the ceremony.

After honeymooning in Mexico, the couple will reside in Cookeville.

Engagements

Mr. Mahaney and Miss James to join in matrimony Dec. 27


Mr. Matthew Lee Mahaney & Miss Hannah Kate James

Mr. and Mrs. Glenn James of Mountain City, Tennessee, joyfully announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Ms. Hannah Kate James to Matthew Lee Mahaney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Mahaney of Livingston.

He is the grandson of Pearl Brown and the late Willard Brown of Jackson County and the late Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Mahaney.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Johnson County High School in Mountain City. She will graduate in Dec. 2009 from Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education.

The future groom is a 2002 graduate of Livingston Academy and a 2006 graduate of Tennessee Technological University. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness and currently works for R. E. West Trucking Company, in Ashland City, as the Maintenance director.

The couple will marry on Saturday, Dec. 27 at Christ Church Presbyterian in Alpine. Friends and family are invited to attend.
