Hunter Wade Mills

Tracy and Brandi Phillips Mills proudly announce the birth of their son, Hunter Wade Mills, who arrived at 3:31 a.m., Friday, May 16, 2008 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

He weighed 7 lbs. and 10 oz. and measured 19.5 inches in length.

Welcoming him home were older brothers Joshua and Corey Mills, grandparents Richard and Jeannie Lafever, great aunt Annette Gilpatrick, uncle Joseph Phillips and aunts Brittany Lafever and Amber Lafever.

 

Kora May Phillips

Matt and Melissa Phillips proudly announce the birth of their daughter, Kora May, who arrived May 11, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
She weighed 7 lbs. and 3 oz.
Her grandparents are Duane and Laura Phillips, and Roger and Janet Miller.

 

Abel Smith

Eysha Pryor and Adam Smith, both of Livingston, proudly announce the birth of their son, Abel Smith, who arrived July 28, 2008.
He weighed 6 lbs. and 5 oz. and measured 19 inches in length.
His grandparents are Shelia Adams, of Cookeville, Jerry Pryor, of Sparta, and Ronnie and Clara Smith, of Livingston.

Miss Tonya Rose Bach and Mr. Thomas Edd Vaughn proudly announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The future bride is the daughter of Mrs. Betty Rose Huckaby, of Knoxville, and the late Mr. Leon Huckaby. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Maudie White, of Knoxville, the late Mr. Louis White, and Mr. and Mrs. Polette
Huckaby.

She is employed at Pilot Travel Center Corporate office of Knoxville as an accountant.

The future groom is the son of Mr. Ben Edd and Mrs. Rita Vaughn, of Livingston. He is the grandson of the late Mr. Ben and Mrs. Myrtie Vaughn, and Mr. Floyd H. and Mrs. Ella Ferrill.

He is currently employed at Volunteer Behavioral Health Care Systems of Cookeville as a case manager.

The ceremony will take place at 3 p.m., EST Saturday, Oct. 4, at First Presbyterian Church in Rockwood. Formal invitations will be sent.

After a brief honeymoon the couple will make their home in Knoxville.


Miss Winningham & Mr. Flowers to unite in matrimony September 13

Mr. Russell Flowers & Miss Rebekah Winningham

Miss Rebekah Winningham and Mr. Russell Flowers proudly announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Louise Calcut, and Glenn Winningham.

She is the granddaughter of Ovid Winningham, the late Jack and Joyce Calcut, and Billie Faye Winningham.

The future groom is the son of Darrell and Gail Flowers. He is the grandson of Willie Qualls, the late Cecil and Florence Flowers, and Eva Nell Qualls.

The ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008 at Poplar Grove Baptist Church, located at 4365 Rocky Point Rd., in Cookeville.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
