LAURENCE GENE ALLRED
Funeral services for Mr. Laurence Gene Allred, 68, of Livingston, were conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 16, 2008, from the graveside at Green Hill Cemetery with Bro. Glen Ledbetter officiating.

Mr. Allred died Tuesday, May 13 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a member of the Monterey Church of the Nazarene, and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a painter.

Born February 17, 1940 in Overton County, he was the son of the late Cortis and Ruby (Ledbetter) Allred. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Allred and Richard Allred, and two sisters, Johnnie Padgett and Betty Craighead.

Survivors include his wife, Reba Allred of Livingston; a son, Larry Allred of Las Vegas, NV; two daughters, Marla Hanes of Colorado Springs, CO, and Brenda Messex of Chicago, IL; a brother, Michael Allred, of Hermitage, TN; and a sister, Charlene McMahan of Livingston.

MAYME RUTH FLEMING
Funeral services for Mrs. Mayme Ruth Fleming, 90, of Rickman, were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 from the Algood Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home.

Burial was at Algood Cemetery.

Mrs. Fleming died Monday, May 12 at her home. She was a retired associate with Acme Boot Co. and the Cookeville and Livingston Shirt Factories. She was of the Baptist faith.

Born November 21, 1917, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late James Polk and Martha Elizabeth (Carr) Talley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hillard Fleming; four brothers, Owen Talley, Leo Talley, Odis Talley, and Evin Talley; three sisters, Gladys Bennett, Bessie Boatman, and Pluma Beasley.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Danny Ray and wife Priscilla Fleming of Algood; a daughter, Virginia Wilborn of Rickman; five grandchildren, Michael Wilborn, Michele Wilborn, Angie Fleming, Dusty and wife Lisa Fleming, Amanda and husband Brian Lee; a great-grandchild, Keegan Fleming; a special niece, Charlotte Talley Brown; and three special friends, Pam Ramsey, Loretta Crouch, and Shirley Wilson.

Pallbearers were friends and family members.

EDITH REBECCA KEY
Funeral services for Ms. Edith Rebecca Key, 57, of Hanging Limb, will be conducted today, Wednesday, May 21 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home with Rev. James Phillips officiating.

Burial was at Welch Memorial Cemetery.

She was born to the late Gentry and Bertha (Looper) Key.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Ricky Key.

Survivors include a brother, Laddie Edward Key of Hanging Limb; two nephews, Jacob Lee Key of Livingston, and Joshua Andrew Key of Celina; and two nieces, Sara Mae Key, and Hannah Key, both of Livingston.

JERRY RALPH MOORE
Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Ralph Moore, 60, of Rickman, were conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2008 from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with Bro. Chris Reagan officiating.

Burial was in Speck Cemetery in the Dry Hollow Community.

Mr. Moore died Thursday, May 15 at his residence in Rickman.
Born June 11, 1947 in Livingston, he was the son of Paul and Eudean Moore of Rickman.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sons, Steve Moore, and Logan Moore; three daughters and a son-in-law, Stacy Moore, Jeanie Moore, and Lucretia and husband Blake Medlin; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and wife Ann Moore, and Rodger and wife Brenda Moore; a sister and brother-in-law, Rita and husband Steve Hardison; four grandchildren, Bailey Medlin, Braden Medlin, Lindsay Moore, and Casey Moore; and girlfriend Marnie Bray.

Pallbearers were Kenneth Dodson, Verble Wilson, Doug Matthews, Terry Looper, Hugh Dickerson, and Kevin Phipps.

JOHNNY HAROLD THOMPSON
Funeral services for Mr. Johnny Harold Thompson, 71, of the Union B Community near Monterey, were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008 from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home with Rev. Delmer McCowan, Rev. Hoyt Looper, and Rev. Chester Rhoad officiating.
Burial was at Campground Cemetery in Clarkrange.
Mr. Thompson died Wednesday, May 14 at his home. He was retired from Dacco in Cookeville, and was a master beekeeper. He was of the Baptist faith.
Born August 10, 1936, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Ernest and Lillie (Phillips) Thompson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Kay Thompson.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Evelyn (Swallows) Thompson; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Deloy and wife Fran Thompson, Darwin Thompson, and Johnny Thompson, all of the Union B Community; three grandchildren, Stacie Thompson, Daniel Thompson, and Kaycie Thompson; four brothers, Rev. Harlon Thompson of Clarkrange, Goodman Thompson, Miller Thompson, and Dale Thompson, all of Monterey; five sisters, Martha Bright of Monterey, Linda Harville of Rinnie, TN, Margie Harris and Brenda McCowan both of Monterey, and Emogene Swallows of the Union B Community; and a half-sister, Reba Griffin of Crossville.

OSBY OVID WILLIAMS
Funeral services for Mr. Osby Ovid “Buddy” Williams, 71, of Byrdstown, were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2008 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Reagan officiating.

Burial was at Okalona Cemetery.

Mr. Williams died Friday, May 9 at Pickett Care and Rehab in Byrdstown. He was a member of Dodson’s Chapel United Methodist Church. He worked as a tool maker for Ford Motor Company in Ypsilanti, MI.

Born June 28, 1936, in Monroe, he was the son of the late Colbert and Oris (Allred) Williams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Fred Williams, Ben Williams, and Clyde Williams.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley (Harris) Williams of Byrdstown; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and wife Valerie Williams of Canton, MI, and Randy and wife Cynthia Williams of Graham, NC; a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and husband Brian Boucher, of Livonia, MI; two brothers, Earnest Omar Williams of Louisville, KY, and J.B. Williams of Adrian, MI; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and several nephews, nieces, family members and friends.

Pallbearers were Jeff Williams, Joe Williams, Chris Williams, Brian Williams, Joshua Boucher, and James Chave.

EDWARD LARRY WINNINGHAM
Funeral services for Mr. Edward Larry Winningham, 78, of Cookeville, were conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2008 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Craig Green and Rev. Tom Halliburton officiating.

Mr. Winningham died Wed-nesday, May 14 at Cookeville Regional Hospital. He was a policeman in Detriot, MI, and a member of First United Methodist Church.

Born September 19, 1929, in Overton County, he was the son of the late William and Christine (McCormick) Winningham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne Winningham, a son, Paul Winningham, and a son-in-law, Dennis Pytleski.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Winningham of Livingston; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and wife Joy Winningham of Clinton Township, MI; two daughters and one son-in-law, Karen Pytleski of Warren, MI, and Karla and husband D.J. Richert of Kembell Township, MI; three step-children, Kenny Melton of Monroe, Tim Smith, and Kim Smith, of Livingston; a sister, Wilma Cooper of Troy, MI.
