• Misses Jessie Qualls, Ruth Lee Mitchell, and Marguerette Millar were in Nashville Friday.

• Misses Elizabeth and Mildred Mitchell of Crossville visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Mitchell last week.

• Jack Martin visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.S. Martin at Independence this week-end.

• Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Sallee of Nashville visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.T. Sallee and Mrs. Eula Davis over the week-end.

• Otto Peek and L.P. Jernigan were in Nashville over the week-end.

• O.H. Dickerson of Cookeville is reported ill.

• Jack Howland of Lancaster visited Mrs. Rowland and daughters, Mary Jack and Bettie Jo over the week-end.

• Miss Lois Maddox of Nashville visited the week-end with her parents.

• Mrs. Jim Little of Howard Chapel and Mrs. George Lee of Hilham were dinner guests of Mrs. John Little Monday. They also visited Mr. Lee who is at the Lady Ann Hospital for medical treatment.

• Farley Sells of Byrdstown was carried to Nashville Friday for an operation.

• Mrs. Hatton Parrott and little son of Winningham visited her father here last week.

• Mr. and Mrs. Burt Mullins of Byrdstown were in Nashville Sunday to see Farley Sells who is in the hospital for treatment.

• Mrs. Clark Myers of Fredonia spent the week-end with her sister, Mrs. A.J. Taylor who is ill.

• Mrs. Charlie Speck has returned home from Nashville hospital where she underwent an operation and is doing nicely.

• Horace Moredock is building a store house and filling station on the Celina Road.

• Mrs. Maggie Elder of Byrdstown visited Mrs. Harrison Sunday.
