Ethan Michael Poston

David and Brigette Poston, of Algood, proudly announce the birth of their son, Ethan Michael, who arrived August 15, 2007.

He weighed 8 lbs. 7oz. and measured 21.5 inches in length.

His grandparents are Beverly and Herbert Price, of Sparta, Ed and Bettye Poston, of Livingston, and the late Joseph Michael Roberts.

His great-grandparents are Anna Mae Poston, of Algood, Clara Hunter, of Livingston, and the late Ray Poston, Bob Hunter, James Ray and Joene England, and Whitley and Bessie Roberts.

Miss Cates and Mr. Hays to unite in matrimony Nov. 3

Mr. Michael Hays & Miss Amber Cates

Mr. and Mrs. Dino and Catherine Cates, of Allons, and Kimberly McNeill, of Hermitage, proudly announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Amber Danielle Cates, to Mr. Michael Patrick Hays, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Janet Hays, of Mt. Juliet, TN.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jodi Cates Allen, of Livingston, Elaine Potter, of Hermitage, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Winchester, of Alexandria, VA, Margaret Cates, of Old Hickory, TN, the late James W. Cates, Byron Allen, and Gary Potter.

She is a registered nurse employed at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage.

The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Mason Painter, of Chattanooga, Helen J. Hays, of Mt. Juliet, the late Jackie Carter Hays, and Kirton W. King.

He is an affiliate broker at Coldwell Banker in Mt. Juliet.

The ceremony will take place on November 3, 2007.

 

Miss Helton and Mr. Calder to exchange wedding vows Oct. 20

Miss Megan Brooke Helton & Mr. James William Calder III

Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Helton Jr. and Beverly Helton, of Livingston, proudly announce the engagement of their daughter Megan Brooke Helton, to Mr. James William Calder III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Myles and Jackie Choate, of Monroe.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Livingston Academy. She is also a graduate of Tennessee Technology Center at Livingston. She is a cosmetologist employed at Tangles in Livingston.

The future groom is a 2002 graduate of Neenah High School, in Neenah, WI. He is employed with Oreck of Cookeville.

The ceremony will take place at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20 at Memorial Baptist Church in Livingston.

 

Miss Mahan & Mr. Robbins to exchange wedding vows Nov. 3

Mr. Brent Robbins & Miss Amy Mahan

Amy Elizabeth Mahan and Brent Harlan Robbins, both of Cookeville will be married on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Washington Avenue Baptist Church, in Cookeville.

The bride-elect is the daughter of James and Mary Mahan, of Cookeville. She is the granddaughter of Vera Mae Seabolt, of Sparta, the late Callie Mahan, Roy Scott, and Ramon Seabolt.

She graduated from White County High School and Tennessee Tech University with a bachelor of Science in Finance and a master’s degree in Business Administration. She is employed as a bookkeeper at Progressive Business Services in Cookeville.

The future groom is the son of Bob and Judy Robbins, of Byrdstown. He is the grandson of Ken and Magdelene Robbins, of Byrdstown, the late Carlos and Georgia Gaw. He is the step-grandson of Patricia Gaw, of Cookeville.

He is a graduate of Pickett County High School and Tennessee Tech University with a bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is employed with Federal Mogul in Sparta as a product engineer.

After honeymooning in Jamaica, the couple will reside in Cookeville.

 

Miss Robbins & Mr. Loveless to exchange wedding vows Oct. 20

Mr. Aric Loveless & Miss Marcia Robbins

Miss Marcia Michele Robbins and Mr. Aric Brenton Loveless announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Dowell Winningham, of Brazil, IN, and Kimberly Reel, of Muncie, IN.

She is a 1996 graduate of Northview High School, Brazil, IN, and graduated from Tennessee Technology Center in 2004 with a degree in Nursing.

The future groom is the son of Marsie Dulin, of Brazil, IN, and Brent Loveless, of Terra Haute, IN.

He also attended Northview High School, and was enlisted in the Army from 1997 to 2001.

The ceremony will take place on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, in Seelyville, IN.
