Miss Dishman and Mr. Greenwood to be joined in marriage May 26

Mr. Tom Greenwood & Miss Amy Dishman

Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Diane Dishman, of Livingston, and Mr. and Mrs. Tom and Judy Greenwood, of Hilham, proudly announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children, Amy Nicole to Tom Mark.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Wilton and Claudine Collins, and Roy and Arxie Dishman.

She graduated from Livingston Academy and earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Tennessee Technological University. She is employed at the Department of Children’s Services in Cookeville as a family social worker.

The future groom is the grandson of Zyepha Greenwood, of Hilham, the late Elmer Greenwood, and Monroe and Velma Gore.

He graduated from Livingston Academy, and earned his bachelor’s degree in History from Tennessee Technological University. He is employed at TTU as a shipping and receiving clerk.

The wedding will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 26 at Livingston Church of Christ on East Main Street in Livingston.

All family and friends are invited to attend.

After the honeymoon in Florida, the couple will reside at their home in Rickman.

 

Miss Melton and Mr. Puckett to exchange wedding vows June 16

Mr. Travis Puckett & Miss Traci Melton

W.B. and Peggy Melton, of Allons, proudly announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Traci Melton, to Travis Puckett, son of Jackie Puckett, of Monroe, and Dennie and Kathy Pealer, of Allons.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Addie Melton, of Allons, the late J.P. Melton, and Ed and Virgie Jolly.

The future groom is the grandson of Agnes Nelson, the late Wilbur Nelson, J.D. Puckett, and Pauline Linder.

The ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at the home of W.B. Melton and Peggy Melton.

All family and friends are invited to attend.

 

Miss Matthews and Mr. Murphy to be joined in marriage June 30

Miss Stephanie Matthews & Mr. Michael Murphy

Mrs. Brenda Matthews, of Cookeville, proudly announces the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Stephanie Matthews, to Mr. Michael Murphy, son of Gary and Lori Murphy, of Monterey.

The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Claud Matthews.

She is the granddaughter of the late Albert and Louise Langford, and Robert and Leta Matthews.

She is a 2001 graduate of Livingston Academy, and she graduated from Tennessee Technological University in May of 2005 with a bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She will graduate TSU in August 2007 with a degree in Medical Technology.

The future groom is the grandson of Jim and Alice Adams, of Moore Haven, FL, and Herbie and Ann Murphy of Chandler, TX.

He is a 2002 graduate of Monterey High School, and will graduate Medvance in January of 2008 as a Medical Laboratory Technician.

The ceremony will take place at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 30 at Lakeside Resort.

 

Miss Suter and Mr. Hammock to exchange wedding vows May 12

Miss Anna Suter & Mr. Jonathan Hammock

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Leonard Suter, of Hendersonville, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Anna Christin, to Jonathan Charles Hammock, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hammock, of Monroe.

The bride-elect is employed as a territory sales representative for Advantage Sales and Marketing.

The future groom is a 2000 graduate of Tennessee Tech University where he earned his bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis on finance. He is employed at Commerce Union Bank, where he is vice president of the business banking department.

The ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 12, at the Assumption Church in Nashville, with a reception to follow at Historic Rock Castle in Hendersonville.

The couple will reside in Gallatin after their marriage.
