Donald Stacey Eldridge

Ron and Michelle Eldridge, of Gainesboro, proudly announce the birth of their son, Donald Stacey, who arrived December 28, 2006, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

He weighed 9 lbs. 8 oz. and measured 21.5 inches in length.

His grandparents are Mike and Sue Stacey of Gainesboro, Wilma Eldridge of Cookeville, and the late Donald Eldridge. He is the great-grandson of Carson and Louise Eldridge of Rickman, Edith Goolsby of Gainesboro, the late Hoarce and Nella Cross, Fred Goolsby, and Lester and Cleo Stacey.

Also welcoming home the new arrival was his big brother, Ethan Beechboard.

 

Bennett Wade Williams


Jeremy Wade and Katie (Winningham) Williams proudly announce the birth of their son, Bennett Wade, who arrived November 2, 2006, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

He weighed 6 lbs. 3 oz. and measured 19.75 inches in length.

His grandparents are David and Kathy Winningham of Livingston and Wade and Sharon Williams of Fayetteville. He is the great-grandson of Mabel Williams of Fayetteville, Kyle and June Broyles of Telford, and the late Robert Williams.

Weddings

Miss Cramer and Mr. Dortch unite in matrimony October 7

Mr. and Mrs. Shad Shaul Dortch

Miss Heather Elaine Cramer became the bride of Mr. Shad Shaul Dortch on October 7 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Aaron Vettraino delivered the wedding discourse. Jim Rodgers performed the double ring ceremony.

Wedding colors were black and silver wih deep red roses for the flowers.

Serving as matron of honor was sister of the bride Carrie Wallen. The bridesmaid was her sister, Sandy Rivera. Shem Dortch, brother of the groom, was the best man. His brother, Seth Dortch, was groomsman.

A reception followed the ceremony at Hyder-Burks Pavilion in Cookeville, in the multi-purpose room.

Out-of-town guests were from Sparta, Jamestown, Gainesboro, Cookeville, Smithville, Selmer, and New Tazewell; Guthrie, OK; Port Arkansas, Corpus Christi, and Edinburgh, TX; Huber Heights, OH; and Kawasaki, Japan.

After honeymooning in Townsend and the Smokey Mountains, the newlyweds are making their home in Livingston.

Miss Underwood and Mr. Walker to exchange vows on January 27

Mr. Jonathan Wayne Walker & Miss Lindsey Marie Underwood

Arnold and Barbara Underwood of Monroe, Diane Walker of Livingston, and Joe Holman of Buford, GA, proudly announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children, Lindsey Marie Underwood to Jonathan Wayne Walker.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Livingston Academy and a 2006 graduate of Vol State Community College. She is employed at Sleep Solutions in Cookeville.

The future groom is a 1999 graduate of Livingston Academy. He is employed at Phillips Farms in Livingston.

The ceremony will take place at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 27 at Wilhite Baptist Church in Cookeville. A reception will be held immediately afterwards at Willow Place Conference Center.

All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
