Cleo Martin
Mr. Cleo Martin, 74, died Monday, July 9, 2007, in Sacramento, CA.

He was a retired United States Air Force Technical Sergeant.

He was the son of the late Rosco and Annis Martin of the Ozone Community. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Tim Martin; 3 brothers, Oscar Martin, Colbert Martin, and Paul Martin; and a sister, Emmagene Garrett.

Survivors include his wife, Diana Martin of Sacramento; a son, David, of Sacramento; 2 daughters, Lisa and Lori, both of Sacramento; a brother, Will J. Martin of Monroe; and several nephews and nieces. (P)

Rebecca Jean (Garrett) Matthews
Funeral services for Mrs. Rebecca Jean (Garrett) Matthews, 79, were conducted at noon Friday, July 27, 2007, from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home with Bro. Aron Dillon officiating. Burial was in Okolona Cemetery.

Mrs. Matthews died Monday, July 23 in Anderson, IN. She was a homemaker and hospital volunteer in Indianapolis for 40 years.

Born September 6, 1927, in Pickett County, she was the daughter of the late Emery and Jesse Riley Garrett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lenard Matthews; and 2 brothers, Bill Garrett and Lester Garrett.

Survivors include 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Camille Matthews of Oaklandon, IN and Alan and Debbie Matthews of Indianapolis; a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Mark Naughton of Tulsa, OK; a sister and brother-in-law, Brenda Jean and Harold Stockton of Livingston; 8 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Richard Norrod
Funeral services for Mr. Richard Norrod, 60, of Murfreesboro, formerly of Hanging Limb, were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, July 30, 2007, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Joe Hedgecough officiating. Burial was in George M. Phillips Cemetery.

Mr. Norrod died Friday, July 27 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center in Murfreesboro. He worked for General Motors in Anderson, IN, and retired from Nissan in Smyrna. He was a veteran of the United States Army, was a member of Calvary Freewill Baptist Church in Hanging Limb, and attended Middle Tennessee Baptist Church in Murfreesboro.

Born April 25, 1947, in Hanging Limb, he was the son of Barton Norrod of Hanging Limb and the late Hazel (Bowman) Norrod.

Survivors, in addition to his father, include his wife of 34 years, Sharon Norrod of Murfreesboro; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Rick and Sabrina Eitelman of Kokomo, IN, and Sean Norrod of Murfreesboro; a daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia and Greg Taylor of Cookeville; 2 sisters, Sue Norrod of Hanging Limb and Sherry Gunter of Jamestown; and 4 grandchildren, Tyler Eitelman, Korey Eitelman, Mason Taylor, and Madison Taylor.

Shirley Reagan

Funeral services for Mr. Shirley Reagan, 58, of Livingston, were conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, July 27, 2007, from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home. Burial was in Hoover Cemetery.

Mr. Reagan died Wednesday, July 25 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was a roofer, a carpenter, and associate pastor at Standing Stone Praise and Worship Center.

Born January 11, 1949, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Farley and Myrtle (Taylor) Reagan.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth (Buck) Reagan; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, Chris and Mindy Reagan of Livingston and Timmy Reagan of Tiptonville; a daughter and son-in-law Jennifer and Jason Dillon of Rickman; 3 brothers, James Reagan and Gary Reagan, both of Monroe and Bobby Reagan of Livingston; 6 sisters, Carolyn Sue Thompson of Livingston, Linda Joan Carter of Cookeville, Kay Reagan and Billie Poston, both of Monroe, Sheila Winningham of Byrdstown, and Lessia Smith of Allons; and 3 grandchildren, Haley Reagan, Brooklyn Reagan, and Conner Dillon.

Pallbearers were Gary Reagan, Joey Reagan, Tyler Reagan, Bobby Reagan, Dustin Winningham, Jeff Smith, Jake Smith, and Derrick Poston.

Mitzi Regina Seber
Funeral services for Mrs. Mitzi Regina Seber, 38, of Livingston, were conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2007, from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home with Bro. Terry McCloud officiating. Burial was in Hunter Cove Cemetery.

Mrs. Seber died Thursday, July 26 at Livingston Regional Hospital.
Born May 28, 1969, in Cookeville, she was the daughter of Billy and Rosa Nell (Clark) Gray. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Garlon and Ruth Clark and Hershel Gray; and her grandfather-in-law, Arvis Seber.

|Survivors, in addition to her parents, include her husband, Bobby Seber; 4 daughters, Emily Brook Thrasher, Ashley Nichole Thrasher, and Tori Gray, all of Livingston, and Natasha Rose Lee of Rickman; a brother, Stanley Gray; and a sister, Michelle Barnett.

Pallbearers were Dale Hargis, Andy Gray, Mark Barnett, Adam Hill, Jonathan Stevens, and Gary Seber.

Levi Seth Smith
Funeral services for Mr. Levi Seth Smith, 71, of Byrdstown, were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2007, at Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Cross officiating. Burial was in Guntertown Cemetery.

Mr. Smith died Monday, July 23 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a farmer, carpenter, past city employee, and a member of First Baptist Church in Byrdstown.

Born January 3, 1936, in Clinton County, KY, he was the son of the late James Douglas Smith and Ruth (Norris) Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 8 brothers, Semion, Roy, Paul, James, Abel, Dannie, David, and Jess; and 3 sisters, Millie Glass, Martha Tompkins, and Mary Walker.

Survivors include his wife, Delta (Smith) Smith of Byrdstown; 2 sons, Johnny Smith and Timmy Smith, both of Byrdstown; 3 step-sons, Gary Masiongale and his wife Tammy, of Marion, IN, Ted Masiongale of Canada, and Chris Masiongale of Byrdstown; 2 brothers, and sisters-in-law, Earnest and Eva Smith of Shelbyville, and Beecher and Brenda Smith of Byrdstown; a sister, Eunice Anderson of Byrdstown; 2 grandchildren, Brianna Gregory and Adam Smith; 4 step-grandchildren, Taryn Masiongale, Tobby Masiongale, Madison Masiongale, and Kaylee Masiongale; and a host of nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

Pallbearers were Gary Masiongale, Chris Masiongale, Tobby Masiongale, Robert Mitchell, Bud Mitchell, and Roy Smith.

Fred E. Sullivan
Funeral services for Mr. Fred E. Sullivan, 83, of Knoxville, were conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, at First Church of God on Westland Drive with Rev. Dr. Lee Wallace officiating. Burial was in Maxwell Chapel Cemetery in Overton County with Rev. Rex Boles officiating.

Mr. Sullivan died Sunday, July 29. He retired from Delco-Remy Division of General Motors Corp. in Anderson, IN after 34 years and was a longtime member of First Church of God.

Born August 25, 1923, he was the son of the late Lige and Dorotha (Garrett) Sullivan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and Edna Sullivan, and Coe and Elizabeth Sullivan; 4 sisters and 3 brothers-in-law, Essie Mae and John Ayers, Eddith and Lester Gaw, and Hazel and George Plaxco, and Etta Sullivan; and a sister-in-law, Lillian Grossi.

Survivors include his wife of almost 65 years, Lola (Boles) Sullivan; his son and daughter-in-law, Don and Judy Sullivan of Knoxville; his brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Alene Sullivan of Livingston; a granddaughter, Katie Sullivan of Nashville; 3 brothers-in-law, Clyde Boles and George Boles, both of Hilham and Rex Boles and his wife Wanda of McMinnville.

Donald W. Williams
Funeral services for Mr. Donald W. Williams, 57, of Livingston, were conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 26, 2007, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Glen Ledbetter officiating. Burial was in Williams Family Cemetery.

Mr. Wiliams died Sunday, July 22 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was manager of an RV rental business and a member of Unity Church in Tucker, GA.

Born November 9, 1949, in Peoria, IL, he was the son of I.W. Williams of Livingston and the late Sarah Elizabeth (Stealey) Williams.

Survivors, in addition to his father, include a brother, Robert Williams, of
Lincoln, RI; an uncle, Billy Williams of Livingston; 2 nieces, Michelle Ryan of Germantown, MA and Dawn Williams of Providence, RI; and 8
cousins.

Pallbearers were Robert Williams, Billy Williams, Dawn Williams, Don Palmer, Richard Palmer, and Michelle Ryan.
