Ricky Glen Boles
Funeral services for Mr. Ricky Glen Boles, 47, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2007, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Aron Dillon officiating. Burial was in Maxwell Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Boles died Monday, Feb. 26 at his home. He was a carpenter, a veteran of the U.S. Army, and of the Baptist faith.

Born December 10, 1959, in Overton County, he was the son of Betty (Strong) Boles of Livingston, and the late Sammie George Boles. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Dewayne Boles.

Survivors, in addition to his mother, include a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Pallbearers were Junior Breeding, Chris Boles, Jerry Ledbetter, Greg Kinsler, Nathan Lee, Danny Brown, and Danny Boles.

Howard Chilton
Funeral services for Mr. Howard Chilton, 70, of Crawford, were conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home in Monterey with Rev. Arnold Murphy officiating. Burial was in Honey Springs Cemetery in Crawford.

Mr. Chilton died Thursday, March 1 at Livingston Regional Hospital.

Born September 16, 1936, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Fount and Bercie (Reeder) Chilton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Edward Chilton, Melvin Chilton, and John Chilton.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Linnie (Ledbetter) Chilton of Crawford; a newphew, Tom Chilton and his wife Linda, of Crawford; and a niece, Donna Cravens and her husband Robert, of Crawford.

Arlie Dee Deck
Funeral services for Mrs. Arlie Dee Deck, 83, of Rickman, were conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007, from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Jackie Wheeler officiating. Burial was in Zion Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Deck died Tuesday, Feb. 27 at Livingston Regional Hospital.

Born September 14, 1923, in Rickman, she was the daughter of the late Dee and Rose Garrison.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Deck of Rickman; 4 sons, David Livingston of Auburndale, FL, D.L. Livingston of Winter Haven, FL, Don Livingston of Haines City, FL, and Darrell Livingston of Winter Haven; a daughter, Doris Carter of Winter Haven; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

James Dickson
Funeral services for Mr. James Dickson, 90, of Livingston, were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Ovle Tinch officiating. Burial was in Harris Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Dickson died Tuesday, Feb. 27 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was a maintenance man, a former employee of Overton County Nursing home, and also served in the United States Army.

Born May 5, 1916, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Ike and Nellie (Looper) Dixon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 former wives, Julie Anna Dickson and Syble (Webb) Dickson; a son, James Harold "Corky" Dickson; 6 brothers, Oliver Lee Dixon, Lonzo Dixon, Morris Dixon, Vestal Dixon, Reece Dixon, and I.P. Dixon; and a sister, Elsie Deck.

Survivors include his wife, Eula Dean (Hammons) Dickson; 4 sons and daughters-in-law, M.J. and Beverly Dickson of Algood, Edward and Martha Dickson of Rickman, Mike and Carolyn Dickson of Indianapolis, IN, and Gary and Teresa Dickson of Normandy; a daughter-in-law, Rosemary Dickson of Rickman; and a brother and sister-in-law, Charlie and Beatrice Dixon of Chesterfield, IN.

Pallbearers were Jackie Dickson, Danny Dickson, David Dickson, Adam Dickson, Stewart Lindsey and Don Potts.

Byrd Dillon
Funeral services for Mr. Byrd Dillon, 90, of Livingston, were conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2007, at First Baptist Church in Livingston with Rev. Donald Cobb and Rev. Clarence Stewart officiating. Burial was in Green Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Dillon died Wednesday, Feb. 28 at Bethesda Health Care Center. He was a carpenter, and a member and Deacon Emmeritus of First Baptist Church.

Born March 12, 1916, he was the son of the late James P. and Etta (Coleman) Dillon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie (Smith) Dillon.

Survivors include 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Judy Dillon of Livingston, Donnie and Angela Dillon of Mount Juliet, and David and Pam Dillon of Cookeville; a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Larry McNabb of Cookeville; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Wayne Wilson, Adam Wilson, Andrew Weidecamp, John Eric Weidecamp, Chris Dillon, and James McNabb.

Lucille A. Dulworth
Funeral services for Mrs. Lucille A. Dulworth, 83, of Liberty Center, IN, were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007, from the chapel of Thoma/Rich, Hewitt & Chaney Funeral Home in Bluffton, IN with Pastor Paul Schafer officiating. Burial was in Six Mile Cemetery.

Mrs. Dulworth died Tuesday, Feb. 27 at Markle Medical Center. She attended Willow Grove High School and retired from Franklin Electric after 27 years of service. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and working in her flowers. She liked to play solitaire and spent many hours sewing and spending time with her family. She was a member of New Beginning Church, located near Poneto, IN.

Born January 19, 1924, in Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Calvin Smith Vaughn and Morna (Melton Vaughn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, E.J. Dulworth; a son, James Dulworth; 2 daughters, Linda Marie Dulworth and Phyllis Baublet; 2 brothers, Cal Edd Vaughn and Gordon Vaughn; 2 infant brothers; and a sister, Christine Meyers.

Survivors include 2 sons, Jerry Dulworth of Dawsonville, GA, and Michael Dulworth of Fort Wayne, IN; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Thomas Bailey of Avon, IN, Judy and Jonathan Boyd of Poneto, and Barbara and Steve Sutton of Montpelier, IN; 4 sisters, Betty Ray of Allons, Olyne Dick of New Castle, IN, Clarice Gilbert of Cookeville, and Earlise Simpson of Bowling Green, KY; 2 brothers, J.D. Vaughn of Monroe and Bill Vaughn of Allons; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Edwin Howard Dunn
Memorial services for Mr. Edwin Howard Dunn, 52, of Livingston, were conducted at Friday, March 2, 2007 at Allons First Methodist Church with Pastor Gary Davis officiating. The family chose cremation.

Mr. Dunn died Tuesday, Feb. 27 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was an aviation flight instructor and served in the United States Air Force during the 1970s. He lived most of his life in Texas.

Born December 1, 1954, in Austin County, TX, he was the son of Robert Howard Dunn of Allons and Della Mae (Whitcomb) Dunn.

Survivors, in addition to his father, include his wife, Tracy (Arnold) Dunn of Livingston; his step-mother, Beryl Anne Dunn of Allons; 3 daughters, Elizabeth (Dunn) Kain of Dallas, TX, Heather (Dunn) Pi of Mesquite, TX and Jennifer Dunn of Hot Springs, SD; a brother, Raymond George Dunn of Mansfield, OH; 2 sisters, Marie Louise Richardson of St. Louis, MO and Jo Ann Gorsuch of Alliance, NE; and 4 grandchildren.

Lillard Carl Franklin
Funeral services for Mr. Lillard Carl Franklin, 82, of Baxter, were conucted at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2007, from the chapel of Dyer Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Fox officiating. Burial was in Pleasant View Cemetery.

Mr. Franklin died Wedneseday, Feb. 28 at Bethesda Health Care Center. He was a truck driver and a member of Holladay Church of Christ.

Born February 8, 1925, he was the son of the late James Franklin and Lora (Gillentine) Franklin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sallie (Trobaugh) Kinnaird Franklin; 2 step-sons, David Kinnaird and Gary Kinnaird; 3 brothers, Woodrow Franklin, Willie Franklin, and Millard Franklin; and 2 sisters, Jewel Knappenberger and Jesse Q. Maynard.

Survivors include 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Jane and Ben Ghormley of Chattanooga and Jo Ann and Jack Dorsey of Cookeville; 3 stepsons and stepdaughters-in-law, Arnold and Eva Kinnaird and Jeff and Ruby Kinnaird, all of Cookeville, and Eddie and Margaret Kinnaird of Lavernge; a stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Judy and Leroy Berry of Gainesboro; 2 brothers and a sister-in-law, Charles and Christine Franklin of Livingston and Kirby Franklin of Chesterfield, IN; 4 grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 14 stepgreat-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a host of nephews and nieces; and a special roommate and friend at Bethesda Health Care Center, Phillip Foster.

Evelyn R. Perkins
Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn R. Perkins, 95, of Columbus, GA, were conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, 2007, from the Macon Road chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Elder Tim Long and Elder Wesley Little officiating. Burial was in Parkhill Cemetery.

Mrs. Perkins died Thursday, Feb. 22 at St. Francis Hospital. She was an active member of Mount Mariah Primitive Baptist Church and an avid gardener. She will be remembered as a person who loved her family, and will never be far from their hearts or memories.

Born March 1, 1911, in Worth Co, GA, she was the daughter of the late Rufus Dean Riner and Eva Mae (Scott) Riner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Jackson Perkins; a son-in-law, Bill Jarrell; and a granddaughter, Beverly Jarrell.

Survivors include 4 sons and daughters-in-law, Deryck and Brenda Perkins, of Tifton, GA, Tommy R. and Eve Perkins of Phenix City AL, Jackson and Carol Perkins of Bristol, and W.L. and Debbie Perkins of Columbus; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Beverly Jarrell of Winston-Salem, NC, and Gwen and David Frazier of Ellijay, GA; several grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous friends.

Larry "Bub" Walker, Jr.
Funeral services for Mr. Larry "Bub" Walker Jr, 31, of Rickman, were conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2007, from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Eugene McCowan officiating. Burial was in Harris Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Walker died Saturday, Feb. 24 at Jacksonville Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Born September 13, 1975, in Nashville, he was the son of Larry Walker Sr. of Rickman. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, known to him as Momma, Magalene Walker; and his son's mother, Angie Norrod.

Survivors, in addition to his father, include his step-mother, Karoline Walker of Rickman; a son, Dalton Walker; his grandfather, Fred Walker of Rickman; 2 half brothers, Steven Walker of Rickman and Jeff Auberson of Cookeville; 2 half sisters, Tammy and Holly; a nephew, Wilson Auberson of Cookeville; a special friend, Christina Miller of Florida; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, family and friends.

Pallbearers were Kodey Davis, Josh Walker, Jason Walker, Steven Walker, Jeff Auberson, and Bobby Greenwood.
