•    A large crowd attended the revival meeting at Ruth Chapel last week.

•    Mrs. Byrd Gore, who has been ill, is reported better.

•    Miss Ollie Bilbrey spent one day last week with Mrs. Sallie Swallows.

•    Overton Wilson of Cookeville spent Thursday night with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Neely.

•    Mrs. Rubin Moore and children and Howard Curtis from Dayton, Ohio, spent last week  with Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Curtis.

•    Miss Jossie Bennett of Anderson, Ind., spent last week with her mother, Mrs. Pearl Bennett.

•    Mrs. Rubin Moore and Anna Belle Bledsoe were in town Monday on a shopping trip.

•    Mrs. Henry Neely spent Monday afternoon with Mrs. Belle Bledsoe.

•    Mr. and Mrs. John H. Curtis of Algood spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Curtis.

•    Mary Ellen Bledsoe spent Tuesday with Charles Pryor.

•    Mr. and Mrs. Carlie Goodpasture and daughter and son, Miss Lorien and Clyde of Tipton, Okla., are here visiting Mrs. Goodpasture’s mother, Mrs. J.D. West, and other relatives.

•    Misses Lucille Bilbrey and Ora Means have returned to Battle Creek, Mich., after spending their vacation with relatives here.

•    Miss Teola Speck and Sam Ross of Cookeville, were married last week.

•    Mrs. Will Speck recently visited Mrs. Delia Mullins near Alpine.
