Lady Wildcats Soccer gets a kick out of camp

courtesy of Lady Cats Soccer
The Livingston Academy Lady Wildcats and the Overton County Jr. Lady Wildcats recently shared the same soccer field for the second of four scheduled soccer clinics. The teams welcomed local soccer trainer A.R. Richardson and assistants to the LA soccer complex. The sessions are designed to identify the players' technical skill level and provide individual training to expand their abilities. The girls received technical training in dribbling, trapping, lifts, chips, passing, shooting and more, as well as tactical demonstrations including switching points of attack, swinging the ball, and playing to space or feet. Assistant Middle School Coach Tony Nigro said, "This is the type of quality training these girls deserve, and I think you'll see the results this fall in post season successes." Phil Marshall, of State Farm Insurance, provided underwriting for the camp, and Ron Huitt, of The Fitness Zone, allowed the use of his facility. For more information on A.R. Richardson and his soccer training clinics visit the website at www.soccertraining.cc.
