Donald H. Craft
Funeral services for Mr. Donald H. Craft, 77, of Hilham, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, 2006, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Boles officiating.

Burial was at Fisk Cemetery in Hilham.

Mr. Craft died Wednesday, Nov. 22 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a retired insurance agent and a member of Livingston Masonic Lodge.

Born February 12, 1929, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Elbert F. and Wilkie (Langford) Craft. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Bruce Craft; and a sister, Evelyn Ward.

Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and John Goforth of Lascassas; a nephew; and several nieces.

Pallbearers were Charles Parrott, Frank Ward, Gibb Jolley Jr., Brad Jolley, Jeff Staggs, Alan Loftis, Nick Riley, Christopher Looper, and Jeff Goforth.

Willis Ernie Dishman
Funeral services for Mr. Willis Ernie Dishman, 72, of Battle Creek, MI, were conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006, from the chapel of Farley-Estes Funeral Home in Battle Creek.

Burial, with full military honors, was in Fort Custer National Cemetery.

Mr. Dishman died Saturday, Nov. 4. He attended Highland School in Livingston and enlisted in the United States Army in 1951, serving 6 years and seeing action in the Korean Conflict. He then worked for Grand Trunk Western Railroad and retired from Fisher Body in Lansing, MI.

He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a devoted Christian who never met a stranger. He loved to discuss the Bible with anyone who would listen, and did a lot of volunteer work for his church.

Born January 19, 1934, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Gib Ernie and Winnie Mae (Lawson) Dishman and the step-son of Audie (Bilbrey) Dishman Endsley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his wife, Ruby Lee Hoover; 5 brothers, Orbie D. Dishman, Billie Dishman, James Dishman, Carl Dishman, and Earl Dishman; and 2 sisters, Ecil (Dishman) Magrum and Annie B. Dishman.

Survivors include a son, Gary Gensch of Climax, MI; 2 brothers, Leonard Dishman of Pontiac, IL, and Ricky Dishman of Monterey; 4 sisters, Blenda Trevino of Mendy, Carlene McBride of Rickman, Jeannie Kellogg of Battle Creek, and Patsy Ann Dishman of Algood; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a special niece, Wilma Yepez, who took care of him the last year of his life.

Memorials may be made to Calhoun Christian School in Battle Creek. Anyone with questions about Willis may call Patsy at (931) 537-3042.

Beatrice Hill
Funeral services for Mrs. Beatrice Hill, 88, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Ovle Tinch officiating.

Burial was in Carr Cemetery.

Mrs. Hill died Thursday, Nov. 23 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Highland Baptist Church.

Born February 11, 1928, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Everitt Dallas and Nora (Carr) Ferrill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Carlos Ferrill, Hollis Ferrill, and Aron Ferrill; and a sister, Mary Ferrill.

Survivors include her husband, Ernest Hill of Livingston; a brother, J.C. Ferrill of Livingston; and a sister, Eva Mae Ferrill of Livingston.

Pallbearers were Derrick King, Jeff Ferrill, David Ferrill, Mike Ferrill, Jason Ferrill, Steve Smith, Brad Ferrill, Greg Smith, and Jimmy Moceri.

William C. "W.C." Poston
Funeral services for Mr. William C. "W.C." Poston, 85, of Livingston, were conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, 2006, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Moore officiating.

Burial was in Bethlehem Cemetery.

Mr. Poston died Friday, Nov. 24 at Overton County Nursing Home. He was self-employed and a member of Livingston Lodge 259, Frizzel Council 84, Evening Star Chapter 136, Cumberland Commandry 26, and Al Menah Shri. Born November 2, 1921, in Overton County, he was the son of the late William Canada and Myrtle Lou (Fry) Poston. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Effer Lee Poston; and a brother, Ray Poston.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Horace and Marcie Poston of Livingston; a step-son, Robert Allred; a daughter and son-in-law, Gina (Poston) and Brent Bumgarner of Franklin; and 5 grandchildren, Tara Bumgarner, Addison Bumgarner, Justin Poston, Whitney Allred, and Kyler Allred.

Pallbearers were Kylor Allred, Justin Poston, Keith Poston, Ed Poston, Elliott Poston, and Michael Poston.
