Bruce Ray Hollars
Funeral services for Mr. Bruce Ray Hollars, 59, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. John Hodge officiating.

Burial, with full military services performed by James T. Davis Memorial Post 5062, was in Old Union Cemetery.

Mr. Hollars died Tuesday, Aug. 29 at Livingston Regional Hospital. His was a disabled veteran of the U.S. Army.

Born March 4, 1947, in Anderson, IN, he was the son of the late Harold and Bonnie (Matheny) Hollars.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Hollars of Livingston; 2 step-sons, Bobby D. Smith and Bryon Jason Smith; and 3 step-daughters, Kimberly Walker, Brittany Walker, and Megan Smith.

Pallbearers were Bobby Smith, Rick Dickerson, Kenny Pennington, Gary Hollars, Leon Hollars, and Wayne Gilpatrick.

Andrew R. "Andy" Rittenberry
Funeral services for Mr. Andrew R. "Andy" Rittenberry, 22, of Watertown, were conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2006, at Milton Church of Christ with Bro. Teb Batey officiating.

Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Norene.

Mr. Rittenberry died Saturday, Sept. 2 at University Medical Center in Lebanon. He was a member of Milton Church of Christ.

Born May 19, 1984, in Lebanon, he was the son of Roger and Barbara Rittenberry of Watertown. He was preceded in death by a beloved niece Sarah Duncan; and his grandparents, J.E. and Margaret Owens and John and Velma Rittenberry.

Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his wife, the love of his life, Rachel Renae (Jones) Rittenberry of Lascassas; 5 brothers and 2 sisters-in-law, Jay and Kasha Rittenberry of Lascassas, Michael and Peggy Rittenberry of Gainesboro, Brian Clark of Australia, Steve Clark of Watertown, and Roy Rittenberry of Cookeville; 3 sisters and a brother-in-law, Lisa and Tim Duncan of Knoxville, Lynn Clark of Watertown, and Carol Wallace of Gainesboro; 5 nephews, Robert Clark, Jonathan Duncan, Ryan Cornette, Stephen Clark, and Jack Thomas Clark; 10 nieces, Jenni Etheridge, Lindsay Cornette, Laura Clark, Allison Clark, Abigail Rittenberry, April Young and her husband, Jerry, Brooke Young and her husband, Josh, Kelly Rittenberry, McKaya Rittenberry, and Marissa Rittenberry; and his parents-in-law, George and Julie Williams and Jeff and Laurie Jones.

Pallbearers were Joey Lewis, Cody Johnson, Jake Harris, Chris Ellison, Chad Oakley, Casey Johnson, Bo Abney, Josh Knowles, and A.J. Williams.

Hazel (Ledbetter) Ryan
Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel (Ledbetter) Ryan, 83, of Crawford, were conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, 2006, from the chapel of Goff Funeral Home with Rev. Arnold Murphy officiating.

Burial was in Phillips Cemetery in Hanging Limb.

Mrs. Ryan died Wednesday, Aug. 30 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a homemaker.

Born February 1, 1923, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Cassie (West) Ledbetter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Ryan; a son, Gary Ryan; 3 brothers, Burton Ledbetter, Arthur Ledbetter, and R.D. Ledbetter; and 2 sisters, Lassie Jones and Avo Ledbetter.

Survivors include a daughter, Charlene Ryan of Crawford; a brother, Freeman Ledbetter of Dayton, OH; 3 sisters, Sadie Brown of Ohio, Marie Copeland of Nashville, and Lillian Miller of Clarkrange; 2 grandchildren, Angela Black of Cookeville and Andy Ryan of Crawford; and 2 great-grandchildren, Megan Ledbetter and Michael Black.
