Lillie Gist (Edens) Clark
Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Gist (Edens) Clark, 88, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2006, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Kirk Talley officiating.

Burial was in Overton County Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Clark died Tuesday, May 16 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a former Sunday School teacher, a former school teacher in Monroe County, KY, and a member of the Civic & Garden Club, the Home Dem Club, Medical Auxiliary, PTA, Livingston Eastern Star, and Livingston Church of Christ.

Born December 10, 1917, in Black Ferry, KY, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Benton and Nova Martin (Stephens) Edens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Malcolm E. Clark; and a brother, Ray Douglas Edens.

Survivors include a son, Douglas Clark of Livingston; 2 daughters, Carolyn Officer and Elizabeth Mitchell, both of Livingston; a sister, Alene (Edens) Bates of Elizabethtown, KY; 8 grandchildren, Julie Officer, Rebecca Officer Potter, Laura Jane Officer Dudney, Douglas Clark II, Steven Clark, Clark Mitchell, Jean Elizabeth Mitchell Ayers, and William Mitchell; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Clark Mitchell, William Mitchell, Douglas Clark II, Steven Clark, Dicky Mitchell, and John R. Officer.

Honorary pallbearers were Julie Officer, Rebecca Officer Potter, Laura Jane Officer Dudney, Jean Elizabeth Mitchell Ayers, Tim Potter, Mark Dudney, Mindy Mitchell, and Scarlett Birdwell.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Happy Haven Children's Home by contacting Speck Funeral Home.

Lynn Keith
Funeral services for Mr. Lynn Keith, 80, of Celina, were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2006, from the chapel of Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Bro. Benard Barton officiating.

Mr. Keith died Friday, May 19 at his home.

Born June 12, 1925, in Franklin County, he was the son of the late Don and Lora (Lucas) Keith.

Survivors include his wife, Lodema Keith of Celina; 3 daughters, Brenda Spivey, Pamela Tinsley, and Teresa Graham, all of Celina; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Mike Ashley, Billy Graham, Marlin Steele, Sherman Steele, Phillip Stewart, and Chris Tate.

I.B. "Cotton" Martin
Funeral services for Mr. I.B. "Cotton" Martin, 77, of Allons, were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2006, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Anderson officiating.

Burial was in Fellowship Cemetery.

Mr. Martin died Wednesday, May 17 at his home. He was a dairy farmer, a veteran of the United States Navy, and of the Baptist faith.

Born June 7, 1928, in Clay County, he was the son of the late Joby and Ella (Hall) Martin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Arvel Martin, T.V. Martin, T.R. Martin, and Elmer Martin; 3 sisters, Bernice Savage, Beatrice Hunter, and Clara Geesling; and a grandchild.

Survivors include his wife, Jewell (Medley) Martin of Allons; a son, Gary Martin of Allons; 3 daughters, Joan Borden and June Harvey, both of Allons, and Judy Forrester of Anderson, IN; a brother, M.J. Martin of Palatka, FL; a sister, Winnie Williams of Algood; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nephews, nieces, and other family and friends.

Pallbearers were Brandon Martin, Adam Borden, Eric Vaughn, Doyle Colson, Jacob Harvey, and Gary Martin. Tracy Melton served as honorary pallbearer.

William Prentice Martin
Funeral services for Mr. William Prentice Martin, 76, of Higgins Lake, MI, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 25 at William Sullivan & Sons Funeral Home in Royal Oak, MI, with Minister Jim Larson officiating.

Burial will follow at Christian Memorial Cultural Center in Rochester, MI.

Mr. Martin died Sunday, May 21 at his home. He worked for BASF in Royal Oak, retired in 1992, and became minister of Houghton Lake Church of Christ.

Born April 8, 1930, in Silver Point, he was the son of the late Haskell and Bertha (Lollar) Martin.

Survivors include his wife, Chris (Ferrell) Martin of Higgins Lake, whom he married on September 5, 1957, in Livingston; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Belinda Martin of Orion, MI, and Roger and Amber Martin of Rockford, IL; a brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Karen Martin of Saline, MI; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Chris and James Jones of Nevada and Geri and Rick Driggs of Mt. Clemens, MI; 2 granddaughters, Danielle and Brittany; his mother-in-law, Lottie Ferrell of Livingston; a sister-in-law, Wilma Epling of Livingston; a niece, Debbie McCoy of Livingston; and numerous other nephews and nieces.

Cecil C. Webb
Funeral services for Mr. Cecil C. Webb, 83, of Smyrna, were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 18, 2006, from the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home with Bro. Carlos Walker officiating.

Burial was in Dodson's Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Webb died Tuesday, May 16 at his home. He worked with GM Corporation in Dayton, OH, and was of the Baptist faith.

Born August 31, 1922, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Samuel Marion and Sarah Frances (Davis) Webb. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sybil G. Webb; and 5 sisters, Sylvia Copeland, Eudean Neal, Virginia Carr, Jessie Oakley, and Orarene Bennett.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Anna Bernice Price of New Boston, NH, and Carol J. Estavez of Dayton; and a brother, Harlon Webb of Smyrna.
