Seth Devoy Garrett

Albert and Toni Garrett, of Rickman, proudly announce the birth of their son, Seth Devoy, who arrived on February 8, 2005.

He weighed 7 lbs. 10.8 oz. and measured 20.75 inches in length.

His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. James Bull of Rickman, the late Albert and Gwen Garrett, and Bonnie Harding.

Also welcoming home the new arrival were his big brothers, Cody and Justin.

 

Aden Ray Hooks

Johnny and Angela Hooks, of Hardy's Chapel, proudly announce the birth of their son, Aden Ray, who arrived on January 11, 2005, at Livingston Regional Hospital.

He weighed 9 lbs. 14.5 oz. and measured 22 inches in length.

His grandparents are Jack and Sue Gibbons and Jay and Pat Hooks.

Engagements

Miss Upton and Dr. Parsons to unite in matrimony June 4

Joe and Susan Upton proudly announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Mary-Ellen, to Dr. Buckie Dewight Parsons II, son of Buckie and Lamoine Parsons.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Roy Hugh and Sarah Ruth Upton and Richard and Dorothy Hollis.

She is a 1997 graduate of Livingston Academy, an undergraduate of UT-Knoxville, and is a student at UT-Memphis College of Pharmacy. She plans to graduate May 27.

The future groom is the grandson of Mary Helen Apple and the late Freeman Apple and Everett and Martha Bea Parsons.

Also a 1997 graduate of Livingston Academy, and an undergraduate of Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, he graduated from Memphis College of Dentistry on May 28. He is practicing at Livingston Family Dentistry.

The wedding will take place at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 4 at Livingston Church of Christ.

Formal invitations will be sent.
