DORA ALICE ANDERSON
Funeral services for Mrs. Dora Alice Anderson, 85, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, 2005, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home.

Burial was in Crabtree Family Cemetery.

Mrs. Anderson died Saturday, Dec. 3 in Amarillo, TX. She was a great homemaker and friend to her neighborhood. She will be sadly missed by family and friends.

She was born July 1, 1920, in Hilham. Preceding her in death were her husband, James Anderson; and a daughter, Erie Ann, who passed away as an infant.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Delon and Pat of Amarillo; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Everyone in Overton County knows Dora was also a mother to Spring Rector, who has 2 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Spring also cared for Dora until 2000 when she went to live with her school.

JANIE SUE COTE
Funeral services for Ms. Janie Sue Cote, 42, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2005, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Aron Dillon officiating.

Burial was in Old Union Cemetery.

Ms. Cote died Sunday, Dec. 4 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was an embroidery machine operator in an embroidery shop.

Born July 23, 1963, in Overton County, she was the daughter of Luther Coffee of Livingston and Bonnie (Ward) and Frank Strong of Hilham. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa K. Coffee; her grandparents, Herman and Haley Coffee and Robert and Clara Ward; and a cousin, Chris Greenwood.

Survivors, in addition to her parents, include a son, Jim Cote of Livingston; a daughter, Tonya Cote of Livingston; her fiancˇ, Steve Morett of Livingston; 3 brothers, Tim Coffee, Kevin Coffee, and Tony Coffee, all of Hilham; a sister, Robin Coffee of Cookeville; 2 grandchildren, Lily Hargis and Caleb Hargis; and several nephews, nieces, and other family members.

Pallbearers were Jacob Coffee, Josh Coffee, Josh Mansell, David England, Bryan Smith, and Joe Anderson.

Serving as honorary pallbearers were Issac Hargis, Caleb Hargis, Ayden Coffee, and Jared Luttman.

OVA GUNTER
Funeral services for Mrs. Ova Gunter, 84, of Livingston, were conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Robert Wright officiating.

Burial was in Smyrna Cemetery in Byrdstown.

Mrs. Gunter died Wednesday, Dec. 7 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a homemaker, a member of Shirley Baptist Church, and attended Oak Dale Baptist Church.

Born June 25, 1921, in Pickett County, she was the daughter of the late Johnny and Flora (Winningham) Flowers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ambers Gunter; a son, Dewell Allen Gunter; 2 brothers, Walter Flowers and Roy Flowers; and 2 sisters, Oshie Trishman and Lena Massingale.

Survivors include 2 sons and daughters-in-law, James and Margaret Gunter of Livingston and Garry and Julie Gunter of Cookeville; a sister, Alva Sells of Byrdstown; 4 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were Ricky Gunter, David Gunter, William Gunter, Frank Sliger, Jeff Flowers, and Mike Fesler.

ROBERT SHERMAN LINDER
Funeral services for Mr. Robert Sherman Linder, 62, of Livingston, were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Bud Hargis officiating.

Burial was in Linder Cemetery.

Mr. Linder died Sunday, Dec. 4 at Livingston Regional Hospital. He was a farmer and attended the Freewill Baptist Church.

Born May 22, 1943, in Overton County, he was the son of the late Robert Sherman and Reba (Morgan) Linder. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Roy Linder and Bill Linder; and 4 sisters, Versie Linder, Betty Richardson, Evanell Qualls, and Bessie Holman.

Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Lucille Linder of Livingston; and several nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers were Keith Linder, Kenneth Linder, Sylvester Linder, Kevin Richardson, Danny Garrett, and Kenny King.

O.V. MORROW
Funeral services for Mrs. O.V. Morrow, 75, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, 2005, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Bernie Barton and Bro. Damon Corley officiating.

Burial was in Miller Cemetery.

Mrs. Morrow died Friday, Dec. 9 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She was a housekeeper and a member of Allons Baptist Church.

Born February 25, 1930, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Laken and Lanie (Ruble) Abbott. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kelmer Morrow; 3 brothers, Posie Abbott, J.T. Abbott, and Clifford Abbott; a sister, Mary Alice Abbott; and a granddaughter, Amie Roberts.

Survivors include her husband, Cormel K. Morrow of Allons; a son, Terry Morrow of Allons; 6 daughters, Elease Barton of Rickman, Linda Roberts of Algood, Edie Mabe and Vicki Randles, both of Allons, Brenda Bilbrey of Florida, and Janie Mabrey of Livingston; 2 sisters, Rosie Arney of Lawrenceburg and Eula Adams of Livingston; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were William Morrow, Adam Bilbrey, Derrick Roberts, Casey Reagan, Matt Mabrey, Eddie Morrow, and Eric Morrow.

RITA LUANN PIGG
Funeral services for Mrs. Rita Luann Pigg, 53, of Livingston, were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2005, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. John Preece officiating.

Burial was in Maxwell Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Pigg died Friday, Dec. 2 at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of AllenÕs Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.

Born January 1, 1952, in Overton County, she was the daughter of Alba (Boles) Allen of Hilham and the late M.J. Allen. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a son, Dustin Pigg.

Survivors, in addition to her mother, include 2 sons, Tony Tharp and Jake Pigg, both of Hilham; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Chris Hickey of Baxter; 4 brothers, Bud Allen, Doug Allen, and Dennis Allen, all of Hilham, and Wayne Allen of Livingston; and 2 sisters, Janet Wilborn of Livingston and Sandra Goodpasture of Hilham.

Pallbearers were Bradford Lockhart, Wayne Wilborn, Darrell Phillips, Brandon Nelson, Douglas Allen, and Terry Allen.
