RUBY B. CONNER
Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby B. Conner, 91, of Celina, were conducted
at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2005, from the chapel of Hall Funeral
Home in Celina with Larry Brown officiating.
Burial was in Dailey Cemetery.
Mrs. Conner died Thursday, March 3 at Livingston Regional Hospital.
Born November 28, 1913, in Celina, she was the daughter of the
late Charley and Mary (Dailey) Dailey.
Survivors include 2 sons, Sammy Conner of Pleasant View and Billy
Conner of Gallatin; a daughter, Betty Sue Copeland of Celina; a
brother, Bob Dailey of Celina; a sister, Ollie Dulworth of Celina;
6 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Marcus M. Copeland, Eric B. Copeland, Junior Conner,
James Conner, Chris Conner, and Michael Conner.

BILLY ROSS CROWLEY
Graveside services for Mr. Billy Ross Crowley, 51, of Detroit, MI,
were conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2005, at Good Hope
Cemetery with Bob Stewart officiating.
Mr. Crowley died Friday, Feb. 25 at Eastwood Nursing Home in Detroit.
He was a factory worker and was of the Baptist faith.
Born January 28, 1954, in Wayne County, MI, he was the son of the
late Marvin and Maggie (Matthews) Crowley. In addition to his parents,
he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorthy Lucent.
Survivors include his ex-wife, Patricia Crowley of Emmett, MI;
a daughter, Meghan M. Crowley of Emmett; a half-brother, Earl Ray
Stewart of Cookeville; and several nephews, nieces, and other family
members and friends.

ANNA V. McCORMICK
Graveside services for Mrs. Anna V. McCormick, 85, of Medina, OH,
were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, at Overton County
Memorial Gardens with Bro. Randall Maynord officiating.
Mrs. McCormick died Monday, Feb. 21 in Medina.
Born January 31, 1920, in Accident, MD, she was the daughter of
the late George and Matilda (George) Hanft. In addition to her parents,
she was preceded in death by her husband, William Claudus McCormick
Survivors include 2 sons and a daughter-in-law, William Claudus
Jr. and Janice McCormick of Clinton, OH, and Larry McCormick of
Columbia, SC; a brother, Elmer Hanft of Accident; a sister, Alfreda
Friend of Friendville, MD; a sister-in-law and her husband, Clarice
and John West of Rickman; 2 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jack McCormick and John Douglas West.

ANDREW J. WRIGHT
Funeral services for Mr. Andrew J. Wright, 76, of Benld, IL, and
formerly of Livingston, were conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb.
23, 2005, from the Benld chapel of Kravanya Funeral Homes with Nancy
Burial was in Benld Cemetery.
Mr. Wright died Saturday, Feb. 19 at his home. A United States
Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict, he retired as a coal miner
from Monterey Coal Company in 1991. After retirement, he drove the
Illinois Valley Senior Citizens van.
Mr. Wright was a member of Croation Fraternal Union Lodge 217 in
Benld, a 50-year member of Eagle Creek Masonic Lodge in Monroe,
and a prior Cahokia Township Trustee for 12 years.
Born February 18, 1929, in Overton County, he was the son of the
late Houston and Kellie (Worley) Wright. In addition to his parents,
he was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Wright.
Survivors include his wife, Gerrie (Norbent) Wright of Benld; a
son, Robert Wright of St. Louis, MO; a daughter and son-in-law,
Kellie and Phil Vesper of Benld; 4 brothers, Claude Wright of Nashville,
James Wright of Daurte, CA, George Wright of Livingston, and Nick
Wright of Knoxville; 5 sisters, Blanche Richards of El Paso, TX,
Etta Savage of South Elgin, IL, Enda Isbell of Chicago, IL, Dixie
Russell of Cookeville, and Nancy Cichy of Elmburst, IL; and 2 grandchildren,
Veronica "Ronni" Vesper and Hunter Vesper, both of Benld.
