Funeral services for Mrs. Amanda (Johnson) Brown, age 70, wife of Wash Brown, of Jackson County, who died at her home in the New Hope Community, on Wednesday, November 6, at 2 p.m., after a brief illness of food poisoning, will be conducted on Friday morning, with burial in the Good Hope Cemetery.

Martin, near Willow Grove. She was the widow of the late Joseph Windle Sevier, who was a great, great-grandson of John Sevier, the first governor of the State of Tennessee. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ for 70 years and was highly respected.

Surviving are four daughters, as follows: Mrs. Lillian Stewart and Mrs. Lena Martin, of Willow Grove; Mrs. Alice Speck, of Sheridan, Ark., and Mrs. Erman Bowman, of Crawford, Tenn.

Funeral services were conducted at the Monroe cemetery by Rev. Kirby Smith of the Christian Church, Wednesday, November 13, at 2 p.m., with burial at that place.

Rid Yourself of Kidney Poisons
Do you suffer burning, scanty, or too frequent urination, backache, headache, dizziness, or swollen feet and ankles? Are you tired, nervous - feel unstrung and don't know what is wrong?

Then give some thought to your kidneys. Be sure they function properly, for functional kidney disorder permits excess waste to stay in the blood, and to poison and upset the whole system.

Use Doan's Pills. Doan's are for the kidneys only. They are recommended the world over. You can get the genuine, time-tested Doan's at any drug store.
